Rogue Command Bow

Quickstart

1. Craft the Rogue Command Bow at a crafting table (see recipe below).
2. Make sure you have at least one regular arrow in your inventory.
3. Hold the bow and either open its UI (interact/right-click while standing still) or sneak while using the bow to cycle through the five impact presets. Your current preset is shown in the action bar.
4. Aim and fire — the shot is instant with no draw animation. Watch the impact point for the preset's effect!

Overview

The Rogue Command Bow is a rare, enchant-glowing weapon that transforms ordinary arrows into powerful preset-driven projectiles. Every shot consumes one standard arrow and triggers a dramatic effect at the exact point of impact — from raising obsidian towers to summoning creeper hordes to levelling the landscape with TNT. Five distinct presets give you full control over what happens when your arrow lands.

What It Adds

The bow is found in the Equipment tab of the creative inventory and carries an enchantment glint. It can be repaired with sticks or string (48 durability per item).

How To Use

Selecting a Preset

• Open the bow's UI while holding it, or
• Sneak while using the bow to cycle to the next preset.

Your active preset is always shown in the action bar in the format:
Rogue Command Bow » <Preset Name>

Firing

Simply use the bow normally. Shots fire instantly — there is no draw-back animation or cooldown. Each shot consumes one standard arrow (Creative Mode players are NOT exempt from the arrow requirement).

Abilities And Mechanics

The Five Presets

General Behaviour

• Every preset plays an audible impact sound on hit.
• Arrows display a particle trail in flight matching the active preset.
• Effects fire at the arrow's precise landing coordinates. If an edge case causes the exact hit point to be unavailable, effects anchor to the arrow's last tracked location instead.
• Individual effect steps are independent — a partial failure in one command won't prevent the remaining visual or gameplay effects from triggering.

Crafting And Obtaining

The bow requires rare, high-tier ingredients reflecting its power. Craft it at a crafting table:

It is enchantable in the bow enchantment slot (enchantability 10) and can receive enchantments such as Power, Punch, and Infinity via an anvil or enchanting table.

Progression And Strategy

• Early use: Start with Terrain Creation to quickly erect obsidian barriers or pillars for elevation and cover.
• Combat opener: Switch to Mob Spawn to flood an area with creepers and create chaotic chain explosions.
• Area control: Elemental Strike is excellent for crowd control, setting large areas ablaze and stunning mobs with lightning.
• Debuffing: Use Area Effect before charging into a group to weaken and slow enemies before close-range combat.
• Scorched earth: Terrain Destruction is the most dramatic option — the TNT, lightning, and crater make it a powerful last resort, but be careful using it near your own structures!
• Keep sticks and string on hand to repair the bow before it runs out of durability. With a damage chance of 25–75% per shot, durability is consumed unpredictably — the bow may last far longer or shorter than expected in any given session.
