Mcgoober Greenrunner

Quickstart

• In Creative, find the Mcgoober Greenrunner Spawn Egg and use it on the ground to spawn William McGoober.
• To summon him with commands, use /summon com_mcgoober_greenrunner_wsm6wf7s:mycustom.
• Try approaching or attacking him: he wanders around, and a player who hits him may draw his retaliation. Keep your distance if you don’t want a fight.

Overview

William McGoober is a quick, sturdy roaming mob. He has 50 health (25 hearts), can move through water, and is 2.4 blocks tall.

What It Adds

• One custom mob: Mcgoober Greenrunner, named William McGoober in the world.
• A matching spawn egg with green colors.
• Natural appearances in forest areas under low light, on the surface, usually alone or in pairs.

How To Use

William normally roams. If a player hurts him, he can target that player for up to 30 seconds. He attacks when close enough and with a clear line of sight, dealing 7 damage per hit. Breaking line of sight or getting out of reach can prevent a strike.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is no crafting recipe. Find Mcgoober Greenrunners in dim forest areas, spawn one with the Creative spawn egg, or use the summon command above.

When killed by a player, William drops 1–3 rotten flesh. He can also rarely drop an emerald; the chance improves slightly with Looting.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Durable: 50 health.
• Quick on foot: wanders and moves toward targets.
• Water movement: can swim and navigate over water.
• Close-range retaliation: attacks players who have hurt him when they are nearby and unobstructed.
