Razorclaw Tyrant

Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, search the inventory for Razorclaw Tyrant Spawn Egg or another dinosaur’s spawn egg.
2. Use an egg on open ground to spawn that dinosaur. Leave plenty of room for the larger species.
3. Try the Tyrant first, but keep your distance: it can bite, claw, and sweep with its tail. If you want a quick test without an egg, use /summon com_razorclaw_tyrant_oqrgmg4u:mycustom with cheats enabled.
4. Watch the dinosaurs’ behavior, and use the in-game Interact control if a prompt appears.

Overview

Razorclaw Tyrant is a dinosaur-mob mod for Bedrock. It brings the Tyrant and 17 other dinosaurs into the world, including large species, armored dinosaurs, and smaller hunters. You can encounter them through natural spawning or try them out directly with spawn eggs.

How To Use

• Spawn eggs: Use the matching egg on a suitable block to place a dinosaur in the world.
• Natural encounters: Explore different biomes; for example, Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, and Parasaurolophus can spawn on sandy ground in deserts. Compsognathus may appear in small groups on grass, while Pachycephalosaurus can be found in snowy mountain areas.
• Interact prompts: When Bedrock displays an Interact prompt near a dinosaur, use the displayed control. What the interaction does can depend on the dinosaur.

Crafting And Obtaining

Spawn eggs are the straightforward way to try the dinosaurs immediately in Creative mode. There are no crafting recipes listed for this mod. You can also encounter some dinosaurs through natural spawning; for instance, the Razorclaw Tyrant can spawn in plains, savannas, jungles, and forests on Normal or Hard difficulty.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Razorclaw Tyrant has three close-range attacks: a primary strike, a claw attack, and a tail attack. Its tail strike deals the most damage and knocks targets back; the claw attack also pushes targets away. Give it room to attack, and avoid crowding it in tight spaces.

Several dinosaurs can be dangerous, so approach unfamiliar ones cautiously. Natural spawns vary by species: Pteranodons favor dark conditions, while Compsognathus may gather in groups.

Progression And Strategy

There is no recipe-based progression to follow. Start by spawning a few different species in a spacious area, then explore the world to see which dinosaurs appear naturally.

Player kills can provide useful drops: the Tyrant can drop beef and bones; Compsognathus can drop feathers and chicken; and Pteranodon can drop feathers. Allosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Dimetrodon, Gigantosaurus, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Triceratops can drop a saddle when killed by a player.
