Racebound
Quickstart
- Craft a Basic Race Spin at a crafting table:

- Use the spin item. It is consumed and gives you a race item, replacing any race item you already have.
- Keep the race item in your inventory to gain its passive traits. Start by trying a race’s listed environment bonuses, then test its ability with the named item or sneak trigger.
Basic spins have a 50% Mundane, 25% Unusual, 15% Remarkable, 7% Elite, and 3% Absolute rarity chance. Use the item’s tooltip to check its specific powers and ability triggers.
Overview
Racebound is a collection of race items that grant different passive effects and abilities. Carry one race item at a time to make it clear which race you are using. Many races have stronger crafted evolutions, and some abilities depend on your surroundings, the items you hold, or sneaking.
What It Adds
Races are grouped by their in-game rarity. These are the traits listed for the base races:
| Rarity | Races and traits |
|---|---|
| Mundane | Alien: Slow Falling; stronger in the End. Demon: Fire Resistance; water hurts. Ghost: Speed; sneak for Wraith Walk. Rat V1: Speed; Rotten Flesh-related traits. Crystalbeing: traits related to armor and tool materials. |
| Unusual | Fishman: Water Breathing. Human: abilities involving Wooden, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite Swords. Machine: Resistance and Haste; Poison in water. Ally: item-based boons shared on attacks. Zapborn: rain-related traits; chance to call lightning on hit. Reaper: sneak with an Iron or Netherite Hoe for Final Reaping. Greed: Hero of the Village; Emeralds empower you. Pride: attackers are weakened and slowed. Envy: hits can steal an effect. Sloth: sleeping and bed attacks. |
| Remarkable | Rabbit: Jump Boost and Speed. Fairy: Speed and Slow Falling. Crawler: stronger at night or in caves. Crazy: sneak for Wild Surge. Silkborn: immune to Poison and webs; hits slow; sneak beside a wall for Silkstep. CyberMade: Speed I and Strength I; immune to Slowness. Icer: stronger on ice or snow; hits slow; Snowballs poison; use an item for Ice Beam. Lust: nearby cats, wolves, and parrots empower you. |
| Elite | King: hits slow targets; sneak with a Gold Block for Royal Decree. Emperor: Speed, Resistance, and Strength; hits weaken targets. Vampire: stronger at night; sunlight burns. Sorcerer: sneak with an Apple for Reverse Technique. Cursed Nerd: sneak with a Gold Nugget for Bummed-Out Breakthrough. Gluttony: traits tied to food carried and eaten. |
| Ancestral | Angel: Slow Falling; fire weakness. FlowerMan: effects vary with the flower held. Undeveloped: starts with Weakness and Slowness. |
| Absolute | Scorpion: sand-related traits; nearby players; hits poison. Hold an item for White Ray. Wrath: stronger below half health. |
Some additional race items are marked Creative-only: Master of Weapons, AlienMen, Junkeater, and Psychic. AlienMen’s passives are suppressed by Emeralds; Junkeater uses Cooked Chicken while sneaking for Comfort Feast; Psychic has environment-related passives and a sneak-triggered Psionic Dominion. AdminRace grants Resistance and has a sneak trigger. God of the New World also has a sneak-and-race-item trigger.
How To Use
- Passive traits: Keep the race item in your inventory. Many effects respond automatically to conditions such as water, night, caves, rain, or health.
- Abilities: Follow the trigger listed for your race. Some require sneaking with a particular item; others use a held item or weapon. Use the normal item-use control for your device when an ability calls for using an item.
- Changing races: Use a spin item to receive a new race. Spins replace the current race item.
- Choosing a race: The regular Race Changer also rerolls a standard race if you have one.
