Explore cold beach regions and look for the Powder Snow Ocean. Its coastline is marked by blue ice, and the water-filled ocean is replaced by powder snow.
Treat the ocean as powder snow, not as water: approach carefully, as powder snow can trap and freeze an unprepared player. There are no special items or crafting steps required to explore it.

Powder Snow Abyss centers on a single new biome: a very deep ocean found beside cold beaches. It turns a familiar shoreline into a hazardous expanse of powder snow and blue ice.
