Oro Bedrockbreaker

Quickstart

1. Dig deep — Oro Ore spawns in the lowest deepslate layers near bedrock. Look for purple-flecked stone.
2. Mine it with any pickaxe to collect Oro (the raw resource).
3. Head to a crafting table and craft the Oro Pickaxe first — it's your gateway to breaking bedrock.
4. Use the Oro Pickaxe on any bedrock block: it will shatter it and drop a bedrock item you can pick up and place elsewhere.
5. Craft the rest of the Oro gear to kit yourself out with the strongest armor and tools in the game.

Overview

Oro Bedrockbreaker adds a rare purple ore found only in the deepest levels of the world. Mining it yields Oro, a resource you can craft into a complete set of tools, weapons, and armor that surpasses Netherite in every category. The crown jewel is the Oro Pickaxe, the only tool in the game capable of breaking bedrock and collecting it as a placeable block.

How To Use

Mining Bedrock

Equip the Oro Pickaxe and right-use it on any bedrock block. The bedrock breaks instantly and drops as a collectable item. A confirmation message appears on your action bar. You can then place collected bedrock anywhere you like — useful for building, trapping, or base hardening.

Tools

All Oro tools have a mining speed of 14 (faster than Netherite) and durability of 2,533. They are repaired at an anvil using Oro.

Weapons

• Oro Sword — 10 damage, sword-enchantable, durability 2,533.
• Oro Spear — 11 damage, also sword-enchantable and repairable with Oro, durability 2,533. Found alongside swords in the Equipment tab.

Armor

Oro armor outperforms Netherite by +2 protection points across the full set (total 28 vs. Netherite's 20). All pieces are enchantable and repairable with Oro.

Repairing

All Oro gear can be repaired at an anvil using Oro. Each Oro used restores a significant portion of durability.

Mine Oro Ore in the deepest deepslate layers with any pickaxe. Each ore drops 1 Oro. For bulk storage, compress into Oro Blocks.

Progression And Strategy

1. Early deep dive — Prepare well before descending. Oro Ore only appears near the bedrock layer, so bring good gear and food.
2. First craft: Oro Pickaxe — This is the most impactful item. It lets you mine bedrock, opening new building and exploration strategies.
3. Build armor next — The full Oro armor set provides 28 protection points, making you significantly tougher than full Netherite.
4. Collect bedrock — Once you have the pickaxe, you can harvest bedrock for use in impenetrable builds or traps.
5. Compress for storage — Use Oro Blocks to keep your Oro supply compact; unpack them at the crafting table whenever you need more material.
6. Enchant everything — All armor pieces and the pickaxe, sword, and spear have enchantability on par with good-tier materials, so invest in an enchanting setup to maximize the gear's potential.
7. The Oro Spear — If you want a melee weapon that hits harder than the sword, craft the spear. It deals 11 damage and accepts all sword enchantments, making it the strongest single-target melee option in the mod.
