Obsidian Void Sovereign

Quickstart

1. Gather the materials shown in the five recipes below and craft the four armor pieces and the sword at a crafting table.
2. Equip the Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots in all four armor slots.
3. Hold the Obsidian Void Sovereign Sword and test its overwhelming damage on hostile mobs.
4. With the complete armor set equipped, press jump once to leave the ground, then release and press jump again while airborne to perform a second jump.
5. Let a hostile mob damage you while wearing the complete set. The attacking mob is immediately slain.

Overview

Obsidian Void Sovereign is a powerful armor-and-weapon set built around overwhelming offense, aerial mobility, and instant retaliation.

The set contains:

• Obsidian Void Sovereign Helmet
• Obsidian Void Sovereign Chestplate
• Obsidian Void Sovereign Leggings
• Obsidian Void Sovereign Boots
• Obsidian Void Sovereign Sword

All five items have an enchanted glint. The armor is intended to be worn as a complete set.

What It Adds

The armor provides 20 total defense when the full set is worn:

• Helmet: 3 defense
• Chestplate: 8 defense
• Leggings: 6 defense
• Boots: 3 defense

The armor also provides 2.0 toughness.

How To Use

Armor

Equip each piece in its normal armor slot:

• Helmet in the head slot
• Chestplate in the chest slot
• Leggings in the legs slot
• Boots in the feet slot

The special abilities require all four Obsidian Void Sovereign armor pieces to be equipped at the same time. Wearing only some of the set provides armor protection but does not activate the complete-set abilities.

Sword

Place the Obsidian Void Sovereign Sword in your hotbar and select it. Use normal melee attacks to deal devastating damage to mobs. Its attack power is high enough to defeat ordinary and many high-health mobs in a single hit.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipes are available from the start of a world. Use a crafting table to create the set.

Obsidian Void Sovereign Boots

The Boots require obsidian, a blaze rod, a beacon, and gold ingots.

Obsidian Void Sovereign Chestplate

The Chestplate requires obsidian, a nether star, and a gold block.

Obsidian Void Sovereign Helmet

The Helmet requires obsidian, a nether star, amethyst shards, a netherite helmet, and gold blocks.

Obsidian Void Sovereign Leggings

The Leggings require obsidian, gold ingots, amethyst shards, and a nether star.

Obsidian Void Sovereign Sword

The Sword requires crying obsidian, a netherite sword, netherite ingots, nether stars, and end crystals.

Abilities And Mechanics

Double Jump

Wearing the complete armor set grants a second jump:

1. Jump normally from the ground.
2. While airborne, release the jump key.
3. Press the jump key again to jump a second time.

The second jump requires a fresh jump-key press rather than holding the key continuously.

The double jump is unavailable while:

• Riding a vehicle
• Touching water
• In lava
• Flying
• In spectator mode

Instant Vengeance

When a mob damages a player wearing the complete armor set, the mob responsible is instantly killed. This retaliation works automatically and requires no key press or cooldown.

The effect responds to mob attackers; it does not apply to non-mob sources such as environmental damage.

Enchanted Appearance

Each armor piece and the sword permanently displays an enchanted glint, giving the full set its distinctive Sovereign appearance.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the Chestplate first if you want the largest single armor contribution.
• Complete the full armor set before taking on dangerous areas so the double jump and instant retaliation are available.
• Use the double jump to cross gaps, escape enemies, and reposition during combat.
• Keep the Sword selected when approaching powerful mobs; its extreme attack damage lets you finish fights quickly.
• The armor’s retaliation makes close-range encounters especially safe, while the double jump helps avoid hazards and improve mobility.
