Obsidian Void Sovereign

Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, open the Combat tab and take the Obsidian Void Sovereign Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots, and Sword.
2. Equip all four armor pieces in their matching armor slots.
3. Hold the sword and attack a mob to experience its overwhelming damage.
4. With the full armor set equipped, press the jump key once to leave the ground, then press it again while airborne to perform a second jump.
5. Let a mob attack you while wearing the complete set. The mob attacking you is immediately killed.

For Survival play, craft the armor pieces using the recipes in Crafting And Obtaining. The sword is available in Creative mode but has no listed crafting recipe.

Overview

Obsidian Void Sovereign is a powerful armor set and sword centered on three abilities:

• Heavy protection from the complete armor set
• A second jump while airborne
• Instant retaliation against mobs that damage a fully equipped wearer
• A sword with extreme attack power

Every armor piece and the sword has an enchanted-style glint.

What It Adds

The armor provides 20 armor points across the complete set and 2 armor toughness from the set’s material.

How To Use

Wearing the Armor

Place each piece in its normal armor slot:

• Helmet in the head slot
• Chestplate in the chest slot
• Leggings in the legs slot
• Boots in the feet slot

The special abilities require all four Obsidian Void Sovereign armor pieces to be equipped at the same time. The sword is not required.

Using the Double Jump

With the complete armor set equipped:

1. Press jump normally to leave the ground.
2. Press and release jump again while airborne.

The second press gives you another jump. It works best as a distinct second key press rather than holding the jump key continuously.

The double jump does not activate while you are:

• Riding a vehicle
• Touching water
• In lava
• Flying
• In Spectator mode

Using Instant Vengeance

When the complete armor set is equipped, a mob that attacks you is killed immediately as retaliation. This applies when the mob is the attacker responsible for damaging you.

Use the ability to challenge groups of mobs, protect yourself during dangerous exploration, or bait attackers into striking you.

Using the Sword

Hold the Obsidian Void Sovereign Sword in your main hand and attack normally. It deals overwhelming melee damage and can defeat ordinary and high-health mobs in a single hit.

The sword is a single-item weapon and cannot be stacked.

Crafting And Obtaining

All four armor pieces use shaped crafting recipes involving obsidian and powerful Nether, End, or rare materials.

Creative Mode

All five items are available in the Combat section of the Creative inventory. The sword currently has no listed crafting recipe, so Creative mode is the direct way to obtain it without commands or another source of items.

Abilities And Mechanics

Full Set Powers

The helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots work together as a set. Wearing only some of the pieces grants their normal armor protection, but the special Sovereign powers activate only when all four pieces are equipped.

The complete set grants:

• A double jump
• Instant retaliation against attacking mobs
• The full 20 armor points and 2 toughness provided by the set

Armor Durability

The armor is durable but is not normally repairable through a standard repair material. Avoid unnecessary damage and keep replacement materials available if you are playing in Survival.

Visual Glint

All four armor pieces and the sword display a permanent enchanted-style glint. The glint is visual and does not indicate that a random enchantment has been applied.

Progression And Strategy

1. Gather the rare materials needed for the armor recipes, especially obsidian, Nether stars, beacons, gold, amethyst, and blaze rods.
2. Craft the armor pieces as soon as you can safely collect the required ingredients.
3. Equip the full set before relying on the double jump or retaliation effect.
4. Use the second jump to cross gaps, escape falls, reach elevated terrain, and reposition during combat.
5. Let hostile mobs engage you when you want to use instant vengeance, but remember that the effect depends on the complete armor set being worn.
6. Carry the Sovereign Sword for direct offense against bosses, high-health mobs, and large groups.
