Netherite Hoard Splitter
Quickstart
Craft the Netherite Hoard Splitter at a smithing table, equip it, then mine a regular chest or trapped chest with it. The chest’s contents spill out as usual, with an extra copy of each occupied stack dropping nearby.
Overview
This mod adds one enchanted-looking Netherite sword designed to duplicate the contents of regular and trapped chests when you break them.
What It Adds
- Netherite Hoard Splitter: A sword with 7 damage, 2031 durability, and an enchantment glint. It can receive sword enchantments.
How To Use
- Equip the sword.
- Mine a regular chest or trapped chest.
- Collect the normal drops and the additional copies of its contents.
Only regular and trapped chests trigger the effect. Other containers are unaffected.
Crafting And Obtaining
Make the sword at a smithing table using a coast armor trim smithing template, a diamond sword, and a netherite ingot.
Abilities And Mechanics
The sword duplicates each occupied inventory stack, keeping that stack’s count. Empty slots produce no drops. The extra items appear at the chest’s location alongside its normal drops.
Progression And Strategy
Use the sword when you want to duplicate a chest’s contents, and make sure you have room to collect the drops. Its effect is tied to mining the chest with the sword; simply opening the chest does not trigger it.
