Morph Bedrock
Quickstart
- Craft a Morph Beacon at a crafting table:

- Use the Beacon to open the morph menu. Pick a category—Friendly, Neutral, or Hostile—then choose a form.
- While morphed, use an empty hand on a block to activate your form’s ability. Aim at a target for abilities that attack or affect an enemy.
- Use the Beacon again and choose Return to normal to restore your usual appearance.
Overview
Morph Bedrock lets you swap your player’s visible body to one of the forms in its menu while keeping control of your player. The menu shows form names and icons, your current form, its ability, and first- or third-person camera options.
These are player-body model swaps, not spawned mobs. Your form’s ability is a limited, player-triggered effect—not the mob’s complete AI, movement, or behavior. Many abilities provide buffs or targeted attacks rather than a literal mob projectile or attack animation.
What It Adds
The current menu offers 42 forms:
| Category | Forms |
|---|---|
| Friendly | Allay, Armadillo, Axolotl, Bat, Camel, Cat, Chicken, Cow, Dolphin, Fox, Frog, Mooshroom, Ocelot, Panda, Parrot, Pig, Rabbit, Sheep, Sniffer, Turtle, Villager, Wandering Trader |
| Neutral | Bee, Enderman, Goat, Iron Golem, Piglin, Polar Bear, Spider, Wolf |
| Hostile | Blaze, Bogged, Creeper, Endermite, Husk, Piglin Brute, Skeleton, Stray, Warden, Witch, Zombie, Zombie Villager |
How To Use
- Open the menu: Use the Morph Beacon.
- Change form: Select a category, then a form. Switching is immediate.
- Use an ability: With an active form, interact with a block while your main hand is empty. Some attacks work best when you are looking at an enemy.
- Change camera: Choose first- or third-person in the Beacon menu.
- Revert: Choose Return to normal. Your selected form is restored after respawning.
Abilities And Mechanics
Abilities have cooldowns—usually a few seconds, with some taking longer. The action bar gives feedback when an ability activates or is recharging.
| Form or group | Ability |
|---|---|
| Enderman | Teleport a short distance toward where you are looking, if there is a safe landing spot. |
| Creeper | Controlled blast damages and knocks back nearby entities without damaging terrain. |
| Warden | Sonic burst damages and pushes nearby entities. |
| Skeleton, Stray, Bogged | Aim at a target for a hit effect: damage, with Slowness for Stray or Poison for Bogged. These are not physical arrows. |
| Blaze | Aimed hit can damage and ignite a target; also grants Fire Resistance. |
| Spider | Bite a target or use a wall-step/leap ability. |
| Bee, Wolf, Iron Golem, Goat | Stings and bites, a heavy slam, or a charging attack; some also boost movement or defense. |
| Rabbit, Frog, Bat, Allay, Chicken, Parrot | Jump, Speed, Night Vision, or Slow Falling effects suited to the form. |
| Axolotl, Dolphin, Turtle | Water-related benefits such as Water Breathing; Axolotl also gains Regeneration and Dolphin gains Dolphin’s Grace. |
| Armadillo, Iron Golem, Panda, Polar Bear, Sniffer, Villager | Defensive or restorative effects; some forms can also strike nearby or targeted enemies. |
| Witch | Poison a target, or gain Regeneration when no target is hit. |
| Piglin, Piglin Brute, Husk, Zombie, Zombie Villager | Combat or resistance effects; some attacks apply effects such as Slowness, Hunger, or Weakness. |
| Other forms | Abilities include pounces, charges, nearby knockback attacks, movement boosts, or defensive effects suited to that form. |
Several forms also have special handling beyond their activated ability: for example, some smaller or flying-looking forms resist fall damage. The player retains normal player control; morphing does not grant every native mob trait.
Crafting And Obtaining
The Morph Beacon is crafted from Amethyst Shards, Ender Eyes, and an Ender Pearl. You can also search for Morph Beacon in the Creative inventory. The Beacon opens the menu; it is not a morph you equip.
Progression And Strategy
There are no form unlocks to progress through: choose any available form from the menu. Try mobility and defense abilities while exploring, and use targeted attacks when facing enemies. Check the action bar for ability feedback and cooldowns.
Not every vanilla mob is available as a player form. Forms not offered include Cod, Glow Squid, Pufferfish, Salmon, Squid, Tadpole, Tropical Fish, Donkey, Horse, Mule, Skeleton Horse, Strider, Happy Ghast, Snow Golem, Cave Spider, Drowned, Llama, Trader Llama, Zombified Piglin, Breeze, Creaking, Elder Guardian, Evoker, Ghast, Guardian, Hoglin, Magma Cube, Phantom, Pillager, Ravager, Shulker, Silverfish, Slime, Vex, Vindicator, Wither Skeleton, Zoglin, Ender Dragon, and Wither. Separate baby forms and selectable coat or color variants, villager professions, panda personalities, rabbit variants, and tropical-fish patterns are not included.
