Lucky Enchanted Vending Machine

Quickstart

1. Craft the Lucky Enchanted Vending Machine at a crafting table (recipe below) and place it anywhere in your world.
2. Make sure your server has a money scoreboard set up and that you have at least 1,000 coins on it.
3. Walk up to the machine and interact with it (tap/right-click). A confirmation UI will appear showing the cost, your current balance, and the pull odds.
4. Select Purchase Random Book to spend 1,000 coins and receive a random enchanted book. Select Cancel (or close the UI) to back out for free.

Overview

The Lucky Enchanted Vending Machine is a glowing, placeable block that lets players spend server currency for a chance at random enchanted books. Every purchase is a gamble — most pulls yield one book, but rare luck can land you two or even three at once.

What It Adds

• Lucky Enchanted Vending Machine — A full-block, light-emitting vending machine that integrates with your server's money scoreboard. It cannot be destroyed by fire or explosions easily, and it emits a soft glow (light level 10).

How To Use

1. Place the machine on any solid surface.
2. Interact with it to open the purchase UI. The UI displays:
   • The price: 1,000 coins
   • Your current balance (pulled live from the money scoreboard)
   • The pull odds for bonus books
3. Choose an option:
   • Purchase Random Book — Confirms the transaction. 1,000 coins are deducted and you receive your book(s).
   • Cancel / Close — Exits with no charge.
4. On a successful purchase, particles and a sound effect play at the machine. If you hit the jackpot (3 books), a server-wide announcement is broadcast to all players.
5. If you cannot afford the purchase, the machine plays a denial sound and sends you an error message — no coins are deducted.

Each book is independently randomized. Any of the following enchantments (at a random valid level) can appear:

Currency

The machine reads and writes to the money scoreboard objective. Ensure this scoreboard exists on your server and players have scores assigned to it before using the machine.

Progression And Strategy

• Budget wisely. Each pull costs 1,000 coins. Save up before buying in bulk to maximize chances of landing high-tier enchantments like Mending, Fortune III, or Efficiency V.
• Watch for the jackpot announcement. A server-wide broadcast signals a 3-book pull — rare enough to be a notable event.
• Stack pulls over time. Since enchantments are fully random, repeated purchases increase your chances of filling out your enchantment library. Target the machine when your balance is comfortably above 1,000 to avoid running dry.
• Place it accessibly. The machine works anywhere blocks can be placed, making it ideal as a central feature in a server hub or shop district.
