Description:
OP Fishing Rod is a supercharged fishing rod that only works when you aim at water: use it while targeting a water block to send a hook that creates a visible particle line to the splash point and a small bubble splash on impact. Using it while not aimed at water shows a message; if the hook or splash leaves the water the attempt is canceled and you receive a retry message, while successful catches use the original 2-second cooldown, play the use sound, and reward OP loot like diamonds, blaze rods, and Nether Stars. The crafting recipe has been simplified so you no longer need a Nether Star to make the rod.
Manage versions and create new iterations of this mod.
This will create a new mod based on "OP Fishing Rod" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.

User request: a supercharged fishing rod that only works when you cast at water: look at a water block and use the rod to send a hook that creates a visible particle “string” from the rod to the splash point and a small bubble splash where it lands. If the hook or splash leaves the water before the catch, the attempt is canceled and you’ll get a message telling you to try again; successful catches keep the original 2-second cooldown, sound effects, and OP loot table (diamonds, blaze rods, nether stars, etc.). Just aim at water, use the rod, watch the line and splash, wait briefly, and collect your high-tier reward. Edit v2: Rename to OP Fishing Rod. Edit v3: Remove the Nether star from the crafting recipe.
