Description:
Limbo Beyond transforms death into an experience rather than a simple screen-fade. Every time you die, you are whisked away to Limbo — a monochrome, fog-drenched dimension of rolling gray terrain, leafless twisted trees, eerie skies, and drifting lanterns. Your goal is simple: find a Revival Soul and use it to escape. Hunger is suspended while you explore, so survival pressure comes from atmosphere and the unsettling things lurking in the gray, not starvation.
A procedurally generated, endless grayscale world with its own biome. Features include:
Vanilla passive mobs do not spawn here. Your hunger exhaustion is frozen, so your food bar will not drain.

|---|---|---|
| Revival Soul | Found in pathway chests (50% chance) | Right-click to teleport back to your Overworld respawn point |
A silent, motionless figure with glowing eyes that spawns only in Limbo. It does not move, attack, or deal damage — but it watches you. Within about a minute of arriving in Limbo, a Watcher will appear behind you, accompanied by the message "Don't look behind you." After that, Watchers continue to spawn periodically (every 3–8 minutes). If you stare directly at a Watcher for two seconds, it vanishes. Watchers drop nothing and award no experience.
Limbo has its own layered audio atmosphere:
Dying is the only way in. On death, you respawn directly into Limbo at a natural surface position. You cannot enter Limbo voluntarily through any crafted portal.
Follow the lantern-lined pathways. Pathways are built from Limbo Pathway blocks and Limbo Pathway Slabs, which smooth out elevation changes and make travel faster. Drift Lanterns line both sides of the path at regular intervals to guide the way.
Chests are placed beside pathways at regular intervals. Open every chest you find — each one has a 50% chance of containing a Revival Soul. Once you have one, right-click it anywhere in Limbo to return to your Overworld respawn point. If no valid respawn point exists (no bed or respawn anchor), you are sent to world spawn instead.
Scattered in Limbo, you may also find a Return Portal — a bright, indestructible structure. Simply walk onto it to be transported back to the Overworld, no Revival Soul needed.
The Watcher will appear behind you. It does nothing harmful, but looking directly at it for about two seconds causes it to disappear. It is safe to ignore — but hard to forget.
Limbo Pathway Slabs can be crafted from Limbo Pathway blocks collected in Limbo:

All other Limbo blocks and items are obtained by exploring the Limbo dimension — mine terrain blocks and trees you find there, collect items from pathway chests, and harvest Void Roots and Drift Lanterns you encounter along the way.
