Quickstart

1. Craft a reusable Kitten Charm:

1. Hold the charm and use it to transform into a kitten. Use it again to return to your normal shape.
2. While transformed, move around and watch your kitten level appear in the action bar. You begin at level 1 and gain levels while the morph is active.
3. For named cat forms, craft and eat an Aphmau's Cat Cookie:

The first cookie selects Aphmau's cat, summons the cat crew, and activates the morph. Eating more cookies cycles through the available named cat forms.

You can also use these commands:

• /kitten or /kitten toggle — Toggle the morph.
• /kitten status — Check whether the morph is active and see your level.
• /kitten level — Display your current morph status and level.

Overview

Kitten Morph lets you explore Minecraft in a feline form. While active, your player is hidden and a cat form mirrors your position and facing. The morph also grants progressively stronger movement abilities and night vision.

The transformation is visual and ability-based: you continue controlling your player normally, while the cat form represents you in the world.

What It Adds

• Kitten Charm — A reusable item that toggles the basic kitten morph.
• Aphmau's Cat Cookie — Food that summons a group of tamed cats and cycles your named cat form.
• Kitten levels 1–10 — Gain levels over time while morphed.
• Feline abilities — Speed, Jump Boost, and Night Vision at higher levels.
• Cat crew — Eleven named cats based on the available Aphmau cat forms.

How To Use

Kitten Charm

Hold the Kitten Charm in either hand and use it.

• If the morph is inactive, you become a kitten.
• If the morph is active, you return to your normal shape.
• The charm is not consumed.
• Using the charm again later reactivates your current selected cat form, if you have selected one with a Cat Cookie.

Cat Cookies

Aphmau's Cat Cookie is edible food. Each cookie:

• Summons the full group of eleven named, tamed cats around you.
• Selects the next named cat appearance in the cycle.
• Activates the kitten morph if it is inactive.
• Changes your appearance to the newly selected cat if you are already morphed.

The first cookie selects Aphmau. Further cookies cycle through the list and eventually return to Aphmau.

Each cookie restores 4 hunger points and can stack up to 16.

Returning To Normal

Use the Kitten Charm or run /kitten toggle. Your cat proxy disappears and your normal player appearance returns. Temporary kitten abilities fade shortly afterward.

Kitten Charm

The Kitten Charm requires gold, leather, a Heart of the Sea, and string.

Aphmau's Cat Cookie

Aphmau's Cat Cookie is crafted from cookies and cod. One recipe produces four cookies.

In Creative mode, you can also obtain the items with:

• /give @s kitten-morph-h7cnvcju:kitten_charm
• /give @s kitten-morph-h7cnvcju:cat_cookie

Abilities And Mechanics

Kitten abilities are refreshed while the morph is active.

The level cap is 10. Levels increase approximately every two minutes while the morph is active. Your current level is shown periodically in the action bar.

Named Cat Forms

Eating Cat Cookies cycles through these appearances:

Your selected form remains available when you toggle the morph off and on with the charm.

The Cat Crew

Every Cat Cookie summons all eleven named cats, not just the currently selected appearance. They are real tamed cat entities owned by you, so they can remain in the world as a feline companion group.

The cats appear around you in a circle when the cookie is eaten. Eating additional cookies summons another crew and changes your selected morph to the next form.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with a Kitten Charm if you want the basic kitten appearance and abilities.
• Stay morphed while exploring to level up naturally.
• Reach level 3 for Night Vision, making caves and nighttime travel easier.
• Levels 5 and 6 improve your movement significantly with stronger Speed and Jump Boost.
• Use Cat Cookies when you want to change your selected cat form or bring another cat crew into the world.
• Use /kitten status if you are unsure whether the morph is active.
• Players with permission level 2 can set a level directly with /kitten level set <1-10> or return it to level 1 with /kitten level reset.
