Quickstart

1. Craft the Jumbo Siege Tank item using the recipe below.
2. Place it on the ground like a block — this assembles the full multi-part tank structure in front of you.
3. Walk up to the tank and right-click (interact) it to climb aboard and take control.
4. Drive with WASD, fire the main gun with Space, and hold Ctrl to exit the tank.
5. Watch the on-screen HUD at the top of your view for speed, heading, and control reminders.

Overview

Jumbo Siege Tank turns a single crafted item into a fully drivable Sherman-style tank. Once placed in the world, it snaps together from several structural parts into one large armored vehicle that you can mount and drive around, complete with engine sound effects, a firing cannon, and enough mass to plow through leaves and foliage in its path.

What It Adds

• A Jumbo Siege Tank item that places down as a large, multi-part vehicle structure.
• A rideable tank vehicle with its own movement, gravity, and collision behavior.
• A working main gun that launches explosive shells.
• Immersive engine audio that changes pitch and volume based on throttle, plus a firing sound effect.
• A driving HUD showing speed, heading, and control hints while piloting.
• Foliage-crushing — leaves in the tank's path are destroyed as it drives through them.

How To Use

Placing the tank: Place the Jumbo Siege Tank item on solid ground with enough open space around and above it — it builds outward and upward into a large multi-block vehicle roughly the size of a real Sherman tank. The direction you're facing when you place it determines which way the tank is oriented.

Boarding: Right-click (interact) on any part of the assembled tank to mount it and become the driver. While you're in control, your character is hidden from view so you get an unobstructed tank's-eye perspective, and the camera automatically switches to third-person to show off the vehicle.

Controls:

Driving: The tank has real momentum and gravity — it accelerates, drifts to a stop with friction when unoccupied, and settles naturally onto terrain. It cannot be shoved around by other entities.

Firing: Holding Space launches an explosive shell from the tank with a short cooldown between shots, along with a firing sound. Shells explode on impact rather than waiting out a timed fuse, so they detonate right where they hit.

Leaving it running: If you dismount, the tank stays where it is, gradually rolling to a stop. It can be destroyed if damaged enough, in which case it breaks back down and drops the tank item for you to reclaim and place again.

Crafting And Obtaining

Use the recipe shortcode above to craft the Jumbo Siege Tank item from iron blocks, a furnace, TNT, and iron ingots. The result is a single placeable item — keep it in your hotbar or inventory until you're ready to deploy your tank.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Structure assembly: Placing the main tank item automatically fills in all the surrounding structural parts to form the complete vehicle. If nearby blocks aren't clear, some parts may not be placed, so give it open space.
• Engine audio: The tank's engine loop sound scales in volume and pitch with your current speed, giving a sense of the vehicle revving up as you accelerate.
• Hidden pilot view: While riding, your player model is invisible (both to yourself and others) so the tank itself is unobstructed on screen.
• Anti-launch dismount protection: You won't be accidentally thrown off the tank by normal dismount triggers while riding — you need to actively choose to exit.
• Terrain interaction: The tank pushes through leaf blocks in front of it while moving at speed, letting it flatten a path through foliage.

Progression And Strategy

There's no tiered progression — one crafted tank is a complete, ready-to-drive siege vehicle. Focus on:

• Finding open, flat ground to place the tank so the full structure assembles correctly.
• Using the cooldown-limited cannon carefully rather than spamming Space, since shots are timed apart.
• Keeping the tank away from serious sources of damage, since destroying it will eject you and drop the item, requiring you to re-place it to keep driving.
• Using the tank's mass and foliage-crushing to clear paths through forests or overgrown terrain quickly.
