Description:
This mod speeds up the standard vanilla furnace so it smelts each item in one second (20 ticks). It does this by changing the behavior of the existing furnace block rather than adding new blocks or items, and crafting a furnace still gives you the normal furnace. To use it, simply craft, place, and fuel a regular furnace as usual; hopper automation and other furnace behavior remain unchanged while only the cook time is accelerated.
Manage versions and create new iterations of this mod.
This will create a new mod based on "fast furnace" with your modifications. The original mod will remain unchanged and you'll be credited as the author of the remix.
This will create a new version of "fast furnace" for Minecraft Java 1.20.1. The original mod will remain unchanged.

User request: Modify the default Minecraft furnace for Java 1.21.5. Change the base smelting speed so that every smelting process takes only 1 tick (instant smelting). The furnace should retain its original texture, name, and crafting recipe, but its internal logic must be updated to process items instantly. Additionally, ensure that the furnace consumes fuel much more slowly to match the high-speed output. This should apply to all items that can be smelted in a regular furnace. Edit v2: Edit the vanilla Minecraft furnace block (minecraft:furnace). Keep its original texture, name, and the standard crafting recipe (8x cobblestone). Change the smelting logic: increase the smelting speed significantly so that items take 1 second to smelt instead of 10 seconds. Remove any instant 1-tick smelting logic to keep it realistic and compatible with hoppers. The furnace must remain a standard furnace in every way, except for this increased processing speed. Edit v3: Überschreibe direkt den Standard-Ofen (minecraft:furnace). Erstelle KEIN neues Item und KEINE neue Block-ID. Lösche das benutzerdefinierte Icon mit dem Blitz und verwende die originale Minecraft-Textur. Das Ergebnis des Rezepts (8x Cobblestone) MUSS der echte minecraft:furnace sein.
