Hiperparasites

Inspired by the phenomenon of hyperparasitism in nature and parasite mods in Minecraft. Hyperparasites do not pursue the player or ordinary mobs; they are interested in their hosts — zombies. The mod is under development. There will be new features in the future.

• Starting from the fifth night in your world, watch for Infector near zombies. It attacks zombified creatures and infects them when it lands a hit.
• Keep your distance after a zombie is infected: it will attack nearby living creatures, including players.

Overview

Hiperparasites brings a night-time infection threat to the world. The small, quick Infector spreads effect Infected Again to zombified creatures; infected creatures then become hostile to living things around them.

What It Adds

• Infector: The base hyperparasite seeking to infect zombies.
• Infector Spawn Egg: Lets Creative players spawn an Infector.
• Infected Again: The infection applied when an Infector hits a zombified creature.

How To Use

In survival mode, try to survive the hyperparasites. This is an unfinished mod, so there will be innovations here for a full‑fledged game.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Infectors seek zombified creatures, including zombie horses, and zoglins.
• A successful hit applies Infected Again for 10 minutes.
• Infected creatures attack living things nearby. An already infected creature is not a target for another Infector.

Crafting And Obtaining

Infectors start appearing only from the fifth night. The Infector Spawn Egg is available in the Creative inventory under Hyperparasites. There are no crafting recipes yet, but they may be available in the future.
