Frog Suit Puppy

Quickstart

• Find a Frog Suit Puppy on the surface of a Plains or Flower Forest during bright daytime, or use a Frog Suit Puppy Spawn Egg from the Creative inventory.
• Hold a bone, beef (raw or cooked), porkchop (raw or cooked), or chicken (raw or cooked), then interact with a wild puppy to try to tame it. Each attempt has a 30% chance to succeed, so you may need to try more than once.
• Once tamed, interact with the puppy to make it sit; interact again to have it stand and follow you.

Overview

Frog Suit Puppy is a small, tameable companion with a frog-suit look. Puppies wander, nap, sniff around, and make occasional happy hops. A tamed puppy follows its owner and can help against nearby monsters.

What It Adds

• A puppy with 16 health (8 hearts).
• A spawn egg and natural spawning in Plains and Flower Forest biomes.
• Taming, following, sitting, and basic monster-fighting behavior.

How To Use

Feed a wild puppy one of its taming foods: bone, beef, cooked beef, porkchop, cooked porkchop, chicken, or cooked chicken. Taming is chance-based; keep trying if it does not take.

Interact with your tamed puppy to toggle between sitting and standing. A sitting puppy stays put. When standing, it follows you and can teleport to catch up.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for the puppy. Find one in a bright surface area of a Plains or Flower Forest, or use its Spawn Egg in Creative.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Companion behavior: A standing tamed puppy follows its owner.
• Monster defense: It can attack monsters that attack its owner, or monsters its owner attacks. Its melee attack deals 1 damage per hit.
• Water and movement: It can jump, swim, and path through water.
• Idle antics: Puppies may look curiously at nearby players, sniff the ground, nap, or hop happily.

Progression And Strategy

Tame a puppy before exploring dangerous areas so it can follow and help fight nearby monsters. Have it sit somewhere safe when you need it to stay behind.
