Foxy Guardian Blade
Quickstart
Craft the blade with either crafting-table recipe below, then hold it and use its Use action to summon Foxy. The blade is also listed under Equipment in Creative inventory.
Warning: Each use also spawns a Wither and a Warden near you. Be ready for a dangerous fight—and avoid using the blade again unless you want another pair of bosses.
Overview
The Foxy Guardian Blade is a sword that summons a fox guardian to attack nearby hostile mobs. It deals 8 damage as a weapon and has 36 durability.
Crafting And Obtaining
Both recipes make one Foxy Guardian Blade:
Abilities And Mechanics
- Using the blade summons Foxy near you. Foxy automatically attacks nearby targets on its supported hostile-mob list, dealing 6 damage to the closest nearby target of each supported type.
- Foxy follows by teleporting to you if it gets more than 12 blocks away. It attacks when it is within 24 blocks of you and targets mobs within 4 blocks of itself.
- Foxy lasts about 30 seconds. Using the blade again while Foxy is still active refreshes its time, but also spawns another Wither and Warden.
- Foxy targets blazes, cave spiders, creepers, drowned, elder guardians, the Ender Dragon, endermen, endermites, evokers and their fangs, ghasts, guardians, hoglins, husks, magma cubes, phantoms, piglin brutes, pillagers, ravagers, shulkers, silverfish, skeletons, slimes, spiders, strays, vexes, vindicators, wardens, witches, the Wither, wither skeletons, zoglins, zombies, and zombie villagers.
Progression And Strategy
Use the blade somewhere you have room to fight: the Wither and Warden spawn on opposite sides of you. Let Foxy help with nearby enemies while you deal with the bosses. Foxy is temporary, so plan to finish the fight before it disappears.
