Flamefang Dragonblade

Quickstart

1. Obtain the Flamefang Dragonblade from the Creative inventory under Equipment, or craft one at a crafting table.
2. Equip it in your hand.
3. Aim with your crosshair and use the item. Each use launches a small fireball in the direction you are looking.
4. Try firing at targets from a safe distance, then use the blade in close combat.

How To Use

Hold the Flamefang Dragonblade and aim at your target.

• Use the item to launch a fireball.
• The fireball travels forward in the direction you are looking.

• The blade can also be used as a close-range weapon.
• Watch its durability bar during extended combat. It has 36 durability and can eventually break.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Flamefang Dragonblade at a crafting table using:

• 1 blaze powder
• 1 diamond
• 1 stick

The ingredients are arranged vertically, with blaze powder above diamond and stick.

Abilities And Mechanics

Fireball Launch

Using the Dragonblade creates a small fireball slightly in front of and above you, then sends it along your view direction. Aim carefully before firing, especially when fighting airborne or distant targets.

Durability

The blade has a maximum durability of 36. Its durability damage is variable, so the number of uses before it breaks can differ. Repair or replace it when its durability is low.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the Dragonblade as soon as you have a diamond, blaze powder, and stick.
• Use fireballs to soften enemies before they reach melee range.
• Keep moving while firing so you can attack without standing still.
• Aim slightly ahead of moving targets.
• Save close-range attacks for enemies that reach you or when firing would be unsafe.
