Quickstart

1. Join a world with this mod active. A Puppy Girl guardian will automatically appear near you shortly after you spawn in.
2. She'll ask, "Would you like some company?" Answer her by typing one of these commands:
   • /puppyguardian yes — she happily joins you as your guardian.
   • /puppyguardian no — she walks away sadly (you can still tame her later with a bone).
3. Alternatively, skip the dialogue and just give her a bone: right-click/interact with her while holding one, and she'll instantly become tame and bonded to you.
4. Once tamed, crouch (sneak) and interact with her empty-handed to pet her — she'll bark happily and heart particles will appear.
5. Keep an eye out for her occasional praise questions after she wins fights, and answer with /puppyguardian yes or /puppyguardian no to shape her mood — saying yes grants you a lasting combat buff.

Overview

Everfaith Puppy Guardian adds a small, personable companion creature — the Puppy Girl — who follows you, protects you, sleeps beside you, and reacts emotionally to how you treat her. She behaves like a devoted guardian wolf with a distinct personality, dialogue, and bonding mechanics rather than a typical passive pet.

What It Adds

• Puppy Girl — a small humanoid-styled companion entity with floppy ears and a tail, based on wolf-like behavior and stats.
• A tame/bond system driven by dialogue choices and bones rather than simple right-click taming.
• A petting interaction that produces heart particles and a happy bark.
• A bedtime companion behavior — she curls up and sleeps near you when you sleep.
• A praise system tied to combat victories, which can grant a permanent magical buff called V-Force.
• Emotional dialogue lines that react to your choices (happy, sad, scared, affectionate).

How To Use

Meeting her: When you join the world, a Puppy Girl spawns nearby if one doesn't already exist for you. She'll ask if you'd like company.

Answering her:

• /puppyguardian yes — accepts her offer of companionship.
• /puppyguardian no — she lowers her ears and walks away sadly for a short while. You can still approach and tame her later.

Taming with a bone: If she's untamed, give her a bone (hold one and interact with her) to bond with her immediately, skipping dialogue entirely.

Feeding treats: Once tamed, offering her a bone again is just a treat — she happily munches it ("Yum, yum <3") without any other effect.

Petting: While tamed and owned by you, crouch and interact with her while empty-handed. She'll bark ("Wouf~") and heart particles will burst around her.

Sleeping together: When you sleep in a bed, she will move beside you, lie down, and sleep too — waking with you and greeting you with "Good morning Daddy <3".

Staying close: If she falls far behind while following you, she'll be teleported back to your side and may express fear of being left alone.

Praise after battle: After she wins several fights protecting you, she'll ask if she did a good job. Answer with /puppyguardian yes or /puppyguardian no:

• Saying yes praises her and grants you the V-Force effect — a permanent buff that increases attack damage and movement speed.
• Saying no simply acknowledges her without granting the buff.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Puppy Girl is not crafted or spawned with an item — she appears automatically as a companion when you join a world. The only "obtaining" step is choosing to bond with her, either through dialogue commands or by giving her an ordinary bone.

Progression And Strategy

There's no crafting tree to progress through — instead, progression is relational. Building rapport with your Puppy Girl through petting, feeding treats, sleeping near her, and praising her after fights steadily rewards you with the permanent V-Force buff, making her both a loyal companion and a long-term source of combat power. Treat her well, and she'll keep growing stronger alongside you.
