Quickstart

1. Create a new world (or explore ungenerated chunks in an existing one) — the mod only affects newly generated terrain.
2. Find a village by exploring plains, desert, savanna, snowy, or taiga biomes. Villages now generate closer together, so you won't have to travel as far.
3. Look for the blacksmith — every expanded village has a high chance of containing one. Loot the chest for diamond gear, diamond blocks, enchanted golden apples, and netherite-tier rewards.
4. To find a standalone blacksmith structure quickly, run:

   /locate structure endless-village-expanse-5rejxujz:blacksmith
   

   Then travel to the coordinates shown.

Overview

Endless Village Expanse transforms vanilla villages into sprawling, lively settlements. Villages are larger, denser, and filled with a much wider variety of buildings — from cozy furnished homes to bustling markets, parks, restaurants, and tall civic landmarks. Blacksmiths are reliably woven into every village, and powerful standalone blacksmith structures also dot the landscape. Village spacing has been tightened so civilization feels closer and more connected as you explore.

Villages in five biome families receive a complete overhaul:

New Building Types

Expanded villages can contain any combination of:

• Furnished homes — residential houses with interior decoration
• Shop buildings — profession-themed structures with proper workstations
• Restaurant-style buildings — food and hospitality themed structures
• Parks and markets — open gathering spaces
• Tall civic landmarks — multi-story buildings that give villages a skyline

Blacksmith Structures

• Village blacksmiths — injected into both the house and street generation pools, so they appear frequently within villages
• Standalone blacksmiths — independent structures that generate across all supported biomes, locatable via /locate

Blacksmith Loot

Blacksmith chests can contain high-value rewards including:

• Diamond weapons, tools, and armor
• Diamond blocks
• Enchanted golden apples
• Netherite-tier gear and materials

How To Use

Exploring Expanded Villages

Simply explore newly generated chunks in any supported biome. Villages will feel noticeably larger and more varied than vanilla. Each village contains functional workstations tied to its profession buildings, meaning villagers will have jobs and valid trade offers.

Finding Blacksmiths Fast

Use the locate command to pinpoint the nearest standalone blacksmith:

/locate structure endless-village-expanse-5rejxujz:blacksmith

This works in any supported biome and is the fastest way to reach high-tier loot early in a playthrough.

Villager Trading

Because profession buildings come with proper workstations, villagers in expanded villages reliably claim jobs. This makes trading significantly more consistent compared to vanilla villages.

Progression And Strategy

• Early game: Use /locate structure endless-village-expanse-5rejxujz:blacksmith immediately after spawning to rush a blacksmith chest. Diamond gear from a single chest can dramatically accelerate your start.
• Mid game: Settle near an expanded village to take advantage of the dense population of traders. Multiple profession buildings mean access to a wide variety of villager trades in one location.
• Late game: Standalone blacksmiths across the world provide reliable sources of netherite-tier loot and enchanted golden apples, useful for stocking up before dangerous expeditions.
• Important: Only newly generated chunks contain expanded villages. If your world already has explored terrain in the supported biomes, travel to fresh, unvisited areas to find the upgraded content.
