Emerald Hero Blade

Quickstart

1. Obtain the blade by crafting it at a crafting table:

1. Equip the Emerald Hero Blade in your main hand.
2. Use it like a normal sword to fight mobs and other targets.
3. Defeat a target with the blade to receive Hero of the Village for 30 seconds.

In Creative mode, look for the blade in the Equipment category. You can also obtain it with:

Overview

The Emerald Hero Blade is an emerald-based sword that rewards successful kills with the Hero of the Village effect. It deals reliable melee damage and can be enchanted as a sword.

What It Adds

The blade is designed for close-range combat and uses emeralds instead of the usual sword materials.

How To Use

Hold the Emerald Hero Blade in your main hand and attack targets with the normal attack control:

• Bedrock touch controls: Tap the attack button while aiming at a target.
• Keyboard and mouse: Left-click a target.
• Controller: Press the attack button while aiming at a target.

The blade functions as a standard hand-equipped sword. Its durability can decrease during use, so replace or repair it when necessary.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Emerald Hero Blade is crafted at a crafting table using two emeralds and one stick arranged vertically, with the stick below the emeralds.

In Creative mode, it is available in the Equipment category. For commands, its item identifier is com_emerald_hero_blade_old4x7nh:my_sword.

Abilities And Mechanics

Hero of the Village Reward

When a player uses the Emerald Hero Blade to defeat a target, the player receives Hero of the Village for 30 seconds.

This effect:

• Applies only when the target is defeated by the player using the blade.
• Does not trigger from simply hitting a target without defeating it.
• Displays effect particles by default.
• Can provide the usual benefits associated with Hero of the Village near villages, such as favorable villager interactions.

The reward is granted after the target’s defeat is registered, so it may appear just after the killing hit.

Durability And Enchanting

The blade has 1,561 maximum durability and is enchantable as a sword. Use normal sword-enchanting methods to improve its combat performance.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the blade early if you have access to emeralds and need a strong combat weapon.
• Use it against groups of hostile mobs to repeatedly earn short Hero of the Village periods.
• Fight near a village when you want to make practical use of the effect.
• Keep a replacement or repair plan ready for long expeditions.
• Add sword enchantments to improve the blade for regular combat.
