Overview

The Elemental Dominion Ring is a cursed piece of equipment that slowly corrupts whoever wears it in exchange for elemental strength. It rewards patience and long-term commitment, but it also punishes carelessness — the longer you wear it, the more it takes from you, and the stronger it makes you against others.

• Elemental Dominion Ring — an epic-rarity, offhand-worn trinket with a permanent enchanted glint.

How To Use

• Craft the ring and place it in your offhand slot (it cannot be wielded as a main-hand weapon).
• Simply keep it equipped — all of its effects trigger automatically while it's worn.
• Stay near other players while wearing it; the ring has a pull effect that draws nearby players toward you.
• Be mindful of your health: the ring slowly drains you the longer it stays on.
• After enough continuous wear time, the ring "empowers" you. Once empowered, your next strikes against other players deal a burst of bonus magic damage.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Offhand only: The ring occupies the offhand equipment slot and cannot be swapped to the main hand.
• Elemental pull: While worn, the ring pulls nearby players toward the wearer within a moderate radius, disrupting their positioning.
• Health drain: For every full in-game day the ring is worn continuously, the wearer loses 2 hearts (4 health) as a curse tax.
• Empowerment: Wearing the ring continuously for about 4 in-game days awakens its elemental power. If you unequip it, the empowerment timer resets, so it must stay on your body without interruption.
• Empowered strike: Once empowered, hitting another player deals an additional burst of magic damage shortly after the initial hit — stacking on top of your normal attack damage.

Progression And Strategy

• The ring is a slow-burn investment: short-term wear only exposes you to health drain and the pull effect without much reward.
• Committing to long, uninterrupted wear time is the key to unlocking the empowered strike bonus, making it most effective for players willing to accept the ongoing health cost in exchange for a decisive combat advantage against other players.
• Because the pull effect and health drain apply passively at all times, consider your health and surroundings carefully before committing to long-term wear, especially in PvP-heavy environments.
