The Echo Lantern is a handheld detection tool that, when right-clicked, emits an echolocation pulse that scans a 16-block radius, highlights nearby ore blocks with glowing particles, and displays the total found in your action bar. You can also place the lantern and right-click the placed block to trigger the same scan; it has a 2-second cooldown, plays a sound when used, and the placed lantern breaks to drop itself. The lantern’s block texture has been fixed so its placed appearance now renders correctly with a clean, glowing look in the world.
