Dark Fountain Knife

Quickstart

1. Craft or obtain the Dark Fountain Knife:
   • Crafting requires three iron ingots and one stick.
   • Use the complete recipe below:

• In Creative mode, you can use: /give @s com_dark_fountain_knife_jae57hgx:my_sword

1. Equip the knife in your hotbar.
2. Stand in a clear area with at least five blocks of open space above you. You do not need a specific light level.
3. Use the knife while holding it. A Dark Fountain forms beneath you, and you are sent to an arena in the End.
4. Shortly afterward, the Roaring Knight appears. It is a wither skeleton named “Roaring Knight,” so bring suitable combat equipment.

Overview

The Dark Fountain Knife is both a melee weapon and a summoning trigger. Using it in a clear area awakens a Dark Fountain, teleports you to a prepared End arena, and begins the Roaring Knight encounter.

How To Use

Hold the Dark Fountain Knife and activate its normal item-use control.

The activation works when:

• The block directly above you is air.
• The five blocks of vertical space above your position are clear.

When activated, the knife briefly launches you upward, creates the fountain at your starting location, and teleports you to approximately X 0, Y 80, Z 0 in the End. The arena has an obsidian floor and cleared space for the encounter. The Roaring Knight appears shortly after you arrive.

The knife cannot start another fountain sequence for the same player while the current activation is still in progress. Wait about two seconds before trying to activate it again.

Abilities And Mechanics

Fountain Activation

The knife creates the fountain around the block beneath your position. Its construction uses crying obsidian for the base and obsidian for the central column. Portal particles mark the fountain.

If the required overhead space is obstructed, using the knife does nothing. Move to an open area and try again.

End Arena

After the fountain appears, you are teleported to a small prepared arena in the End. The arena is centered near the End’s coordinates 0, 80, 0.

Roaring Knight

The Roaring Knight is summoned at the far side of the arena shortly after your arrival. It behaves as a wither skeleton while displaying the name Roaring Knight.

Combat Use

The knife can also be used as a normal sword. It deals 5 damage, has 250 maximum durability, and accepts sword enchantments.

Progression And Strategy

• Test the knife in a large, open area before using it near important builds.
• Prepare your armor, food, and combat supplies before activation; the encounter begins soon after teleportation.
• Keep the knife equipped when you want to summon the fountain, but remember that it is also your melee weapon.
• If nothing happens, check the five blocks directly above you for leaves, ceilings, blocks, or other obstructions.
• Allow the activation sequence to finish before attempting to use the knife again.
