Quickstart

1. Find the Force Codex in your inventory; each player starts with one. Use it and choose Force Sensitive to awaken permanently, or defer and open it again later.
2. After awakening, use the Codex to open training. Pick a power to spend a training point on.
3. Sneak and use the Codex to cycle through available abilities. You can also sneak and jump to cycle while the Codex is not in hand.
4. To cast a selected ability, use the Forcebound Eclipse or a lightsaber. Powers consume Force charge, which regenerates over time.
5. Try crafting a lightsaber for a weapon to fight with, or use a Jedi or Sith Temple Spawn Egg from the Creative inventory to place a temple. Leave plenty of clear space for these large structures.

Your awakening and Force progress persist across respawns and sessions. You don’t need to carry a separate Force artifact to remain Force Sensitive.

Overview

Unleash the Force centers on the Force Codex: it awakens your Force sensitivity, opens your training menu, and lets you develop powers over time. Powers span neutral, light-side, and dark-side disciplines. The mod also includes the Forcebound Eclipse weapon, five lightsaber colors, and temple spawn eggs.

What It Adds

How To Use

Use the Force Codex to open training and view your alignment, Force rank, available training points, and trained powers. Choose a power to spend one point and raise it by one level. The Codex also has a Restore Book option if you need another copy.

Sneak-use the Codex to cycle through unlocked abilities; the selected ability is shown on screen. Sneak-jump also cycles abilities. Use the Forcebound Eclipse or a lightsaber to cast the selected power. Abilities spend Force charge and have cooldowns; charge replenishes passively.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Force Codex is given to players; no Codex crafting recipe is listed. Craft lightsabers at a crafting table. Each uses a Netherite Ingot, Iron Ingot, Diamond, Echo Shard, and the color material shown in its recipe.

Abilities And Mechanics

Some abilities unlock as your Force rank grows. Dark-side powers also require dark alignment, with stronger disciplines requiring more of it. Dark-aligned actions raise your dark alignment; peaceful play can reduce it. A high dark alignment weakens light-side effects, and full dark alignment blocks Heal Other and Oneness.

Progression And Strategy

You earn training points from Minecraft XP levels and passive Force rank: every two XP levels provide a point, and each passive rank provides another. Each power can be trained up to level 5. Training improves potency, reduces cooldowns, and unlocks stronger effects.

Some rank-gated powers include healing and Mind Trick at rank 6, Force Drain at rank 10, Force Crush at rank 15, Force Storm at rank 20, and Rage and Oneness at rank 24. Train a few powers that suit your playstyle, then use the Codex to check your points and unlocks as you progress.
