Use/right-click while not sneaking to lunge in the direction you’re looking. You can repeat this without a cooldown.
Sneak and use the spear to begin charging. Keep sneaking for 5 seconds to launch a faster dash. Aim before charging; the dash follows your view, including up or down.
In Creative mode, you can also find it in the Combat inventory tab.

Overview

The Crimson Dash Spear is a movement-focused item: using it launches you, rather than throwing the spear as a projectile. It stacks to one.

How To Use

Action	Result
Use while not sneaking	Immediate lunge, with no dash cooldown
Sneak and use	Starts charging; keep sneaking for 5 seconds to trigger the charged dash
Try to charge during cooldown	The charged dash is unavailable for 30 seconds after use

The cooldown only prevents another charged dash; you can still use the regular lunge.

Crafting And Obtaining

The crafting recipe unlocks when you enter a world. The crafted spear is unbreakable and comes with Lunge V, Sharpness VII, Looting III, and Fire Aspect II.
