Mod Wiki
Cosmic Enclosure
Quickstart
- In Creative mode, find the Cosmic Enclosure Spawn Egg and use it to spawn the mob.
- With cheats enabled, summon one with
/summon com_cosmic_enclosure_q4jo54cp:mycustom. - To encounter one naturally, explore surface areas of the End where the light level is 7 or lower. It is hostile, so keep your distance and watch for End Crystals appearing around you.
Overview
Cosmic Enclosure is a hostile, flying mob that hunts players and Endermites. It has 90 health, resists some incoming damage, and can turn a nearby fight into a crystal trap.
What It Adds
- The Cosmic Enclosure mob and its Spawn Egg.
- Aerial attacks, crystal bursts, and a dangerous collapse when its core is hit.
- Drops including Purpur Blocks, with a chance for rarer End items.
How To Use
The Spawn Egg is the quickest way to meet one. When fighting it, keep moving: its attacks can reach targets it can see within 32 blocks, and its crystal burst surrounds its target with four End Crystals before they detonate.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Flight: It hovers and pursues targets through the air.
- Energy attack: A visible target can be struck for 8 damage.
- Crystal burst: Four End Crystals appear around its target and detonate shortly afterward. The blasts do not break blocks or start fires.
- Core collapse: A hit on its central core can make the mob transform into an End Crystal. The crystal detonates about four seconds later, so move away quickly.
Crafting And Obtaining
There are no recipes for the mob. Obtain it with its Spawn Egg in Creative mode, summon it with the command above, or look for it in dark End surface areas.
When killed by a player, it drops 1–3 Purpur Blocks. Player kills also have a chance to yield an Ender Eye (12%), an End Crystal (3%), or an End Gateway (0.5%). Looting can improve the chances of the rare drops.
Progression And Strategy
Fight at range when possible, and aim attacks toward the center of its body to try to hit its core. If you see an End Crystal appear where it was, retreat immediately—the delayed blast is the last danger to watch for.
