Coral Colossus
Quickstart
In Creative mode, find the Coral Colossus Spawn Egg and use it to spawn the giant. You can also summon it with:
/summon com_coral_colossus_mpwwucoc:mycustom
Give it space: the Colossus is about 10.5 blocks tall and 4.4 blocks wide. It attacks nearby players, villagers, iron golems, and snow golems on its own. Try fighting it in an open area, then see what happens if it gets close to a villager.
Overview
The Coral Colossus is a hostile, coral-built giant. It can appear in ocean biomes, either underwater or at the surface. It has 160 health (80 hearts) and is highly resistant to knockback.

How To Use
The Colossus chooses targets and attacks automatically; there are no special controls. It can pursue targets it sees within 32 blocks and will move toward them.
Its attacks include:
- Claw strike: Deals 18 damage (9 hearts) at close range.
- Coral beam: Deals 14 magic damage (7 hearts) and requires a clear line to its target.
- Infection: At close range, it can replace a villager with a strengthened zombie villager named Coral-Infected Villager.
Crafting And Obtaining
There are no crafting recipes for the Colossus or its spawn egg. Use the spawn egg or summon command, or look for the mob in ocean biomes.
Abilities And Mechanics
The Colossus targets players, villagers, iron golems, and snow golems. Obstructing blocks can prevent its attacks from reaching a target. Keep villagers away from it: an infected villager becomes an empowered zombie villager with Strength, Resistance, and Health Boost.
Progression And Strategy
Use ranged attacks and cover to avoid its close-range strikes and villager infection. Since it can also fire a beam, keep cover between you and the Colossus when possible. Protect nearby villagers before engaging.
Defeating it drops 2–5 prismarine shards. It can also drop 1–2 brain coral blocks (35% base chance) and, if killed by a player, 1–2 prismarine crystals (20% base chance). Looting can improve the drops.
