Copper Among Us

Quickstart

1. Open the Creative inventory and search for a Copper Among Us Spawn Egg.
2. Use the egg on the ground to spawn a towering Copper Among Us.
3. Hold Exposed Copper and use it on the untamed guardian. One block is consumed outside Creative mode, and the Copper Among Us becomes your companion.
4. Let it protect you: it follows you and attacks creatures that you attack or that attack you.
5. To try the other colors, use their spawn eggs or summon them with commands such as:

/summon copper-among-us-thc3oirv:copper_among_us_thc3oirv

The Copper Among Us is neutral until it is hurt, so it does not attack first.

Overview

Copper Among Us adds towering Among Us-styled guardians with exposed-copper and colorful appearances. Every variant is a powerful melee companion after being tamed.

The guardians have:

• 80 health for Copper, Red, Green, Pink, and Blue
• 150 health for Rainbow
• 16 attack damage
• Strong knockback resistance
• A movement speed of 0.30
• A follow range of 32 blocks

What It Adds

The Rainbow Among Us has the highest health and accepts every wool color as a taming item.

How To Use

Obtaining and spawning

The mod provides a spawn egg for each variant. In Creative mode, search for the variant's name in the inventory and use its spawn egg on a suitable location.

You can also use commands:

/give @s copper-among-us-thc3oirv:red_among_us_thc3oirv_spawn_egg

To summon a variant directly:

Taming

Hold the correct taming item in either hand and use it on an untamed guardian. A successful tame assigns the guardian to you and clears its current target.

Only the listed item works for each variant. The guardian does not use ordinary animal taming items, and it cannot be bred through normal breeding interactions.

Following and combat

After taming, an Among Us guardian:

• Follows its owner.
• Defends its owner from attackers.
• Joins its owner when the owner attacks another living target.
• Uses melee attacks.
• Avoids attacking its own owner.

Untamed guardians wander and look around normally. If another living creature successfully hurts one, it retaliates against that attacker. This makes an untamed guardian neutral rather than automatically hostile.

Abilities And Mechanics

Guardian strength

The regular variants have 80 health and deal 16 attack damage per melee hit. The Rainbow Among Us has 150 health while dealing the same 16 attack damage.

All variants can swim and have moderate knockback resistance, making them reliable front-line defenders.

Owner protection

A tamed guardian tracks threats to its owner and can attack the creatures its owner attacks. Keep one nearby when exploring dangerous areas, but avoid striking it accidentally because untamed guardians retaliate when damaged.

• Start with the Copper Among Us if you want the signature exposed-copper guardian.
• Carry the correct taming item before approaching an untamed variant.
• Use the Rainbow Among Us when maximum durability matters; any wool color can tame it.
• Keep your guardian close before entering a fight so it can recognize threats to you.
• Avoid attacking near friendly players or creatures you do not want the guardian to target.
• Use multiple color variants to build a themed group of towering protectors.
