Colossal Rocket Launcher

Quickstart

1. At a crafting table, make the launcher and a stack of ammo using the recipes below.
2. Put the ammo in your inventory and equip the Colossal Rocket Launcher.
3. Aim at a target and press Use to fire. The rocket detonates on impact, so try it in an open area and keep your distance.

Overview

The mod adds a rocket launcher and its matching ammunition for explosive ranged combat. The launcher fires immediately when used; it does not need to be charged.

What It Adds

• Colossal Rocket Launcher — a durable ranged weapon that fires the mod’s ammo.
• Colossal Rocket Launcher Ammo — ammunition for the launcher; each crafted batch makes 16.

How To Use

Keep ammo in your inventory, equip the launcher, aim, and press Use to fire. The launcher searches your inventory for ammo. It has a brief one-second firing cooldown and wears down with use.

Abilities And Mechanics

Rockets travel forward and detonate when they hit an entity or a surface. A direct hit deals 3–5 damage and knockback, followed by an explosive blast. The blast does not cause fire; whether it damages blocks depends on the world’s mob-griefing setting.

The launcher has 36 durability, so bring a spare if you plan to fire often.

Progression And Strategy

Start with a small batch of ammo, then test the launcher against targets in an open area. Keep a safe distance from the impact point, and avoid firing near builds you want to preserve.
