    Description:

Chichen Itza 2 is a single-use builder block: place it to clear the surrounding area to a flat grass plane, trigger a 10-second countdown, and then watch it construct a faithful, scaled-up El Castillo replica before removing itself. It builds a proportional nine-tier pyramid on a 101×101 base in a light sandstone palette with a hollow-but-thick exterior shell to reduce placed blocks, and four centered 9-block-wide cardinal staircases with side rails and extended approaches that always orient consistently to the player. This update preserves the original scale and behavior while fixing staircase and summit geometry so each staircase is fully exposed from ground to summit (no buried or inset steps), the base is trimmed so lower steps are visible and stairs meet the widened top platform cleanly with at least a one-block walkable border, and the summit now features a compact, enterable decorative temple with framed entrances, corner pilasters, a one-block overhanging cornice/awning, and a stepped roofline.

    Chichen Itza Builder 2

    Quickstart

    1. Gather sandstone, chiseled sandstone, smooth sandstone, and a nether star.
    2. Craft the Chichen Itza 2 block at a crafting table:

    1. Find a large, open flat area — the build needs roughly a 153×153 block footprint of clear space.
    2. Place the block anywhere in your world.
    3. The area around it will immediately be levelled to a flat grass plane, and a 10-second countdown begins.
    4. Stand back and watch El Castillo rise.

    Overview

Chichen Itza 2 is a single-use builder block that automatically constructs a large, faithful replica of El Castillo — the iconic stepped pyramid of Chichén Itzá — directly in your world. Place the block, wait ten seconds, and the pyramid builds itself before the block removes itself entirely. The result is a permanent structure you can explore, climb, and build inside.

    What It Adds

    • Chichen Itza 2 block — a craftable, single-use construction trigger found in the Construction category of the inventory.

    The structure it creates:

    FeatureDetail
    Footprint101 × 101 blocks
    Height38 blocks (nine tiers)
    PaletteLight sandstone tones
TiersNine stepped levels with a hollow-but-thick exterior shell
StaircasesFour cardinal staircases, each 9 blocks wide, with side rails and extended ground-level approaches
Summit templeCompact enterable temple with framed entrances, corner pilasters, an overhanging cornice/awning, and a stepped roofline

    How To Use

    1. Craft the Chichen Itza 2 block (see Quickstart).
    2. Choose your site. The mod clears a wide radius around the placement point down to a flat grass layer, so pick a location where you don't mind the surrounding terrain being reshaped.
    3. Place the block. The clearing sequence runs immediately and a 10-second countdown begins. The block glows faintly while active.
    4. Wait. The pyramid is built in phases — base, tiers, staircases, then the summit temple — before the builder block removes itself.
    5. Explore. Once complete, the structure is a permanent part of your world. Climb the staircases to the summit, step inside the temple, or use it as a centrepiece for your build.

Warning: The builder clears everything above and below the grass plane within its range. Do not place it near structures you want to keep.

    Abilities And Mechanics

    Terrain Clearing

When placed, the block flattens the surrounding area to a uniform grass surface. A layer of dirt sits underneath and all blocks above are replaced with air, giving the pyramid a clean, unobstructed base.

    Countdown

A 10-second countdown runs after placement before construction begins. The block cannot be mined or destroyed by explosions, so once placed it will always complete its sequence.

    Pyramid Construction

The nine-tier pyramid is built with a hollow interior shell — the exterior walls are solid and several blocks thick, but the core is empty — reducing the total number of placed blocks while maintaining a fully solid appearance from outside.

    Staircases

All four cardinal faces have a wide staircase running from ground level up to the summit platform. Each staircase is:

    • 9 blocks wide
    • Flanked by side rails
    • Equipped with an extended approach at the base so the bottom steps are clearly visible
    • Fully exposed from ground to summit — no steps are buried within the pyramid body

    Summit Temple

The top platform is wide enough to walk around the temple comfortably. The temple itself features:

    • Framed doorway entrances on the cardinal faces
    • Corner pilasters for decoration
    • A one-block overhanging cornice around the exterior
    • A stepped roofline
    • A fully enterable hollow interior

    Orientation

The staircases and temple entrances always orient consistently relative to the player's position when the block is placed, so the front face will always face a predictable direction.

    Crafting And Obtaining

The Chichen Itza 2 block is crafted at a crafting table. It yields one block per craft and is consumed when used (it removes itself after building).

The recipe unlocks automatically once you have sandstone, chiseled sandstone, smooth sandstone, and a nether star in your inventory.

    Progression And Strategy

    • Nether star requirement means you must defeat the Wither before you can build the pyramid — making this a late-game landmark reward.
    • The pyramid is entirely inert after construction; it holds no mobs, loot, or special mechanics — it is purely a large decorative structure and exploration space.
    • Because the builder flattens a large area, consider placing it in a desert or open plains biome where terrain disruption is least impactful.
    • The hollow interior of each tier means there is significant enclosed space inside the pyramid walls that you can excavate and repurpose for rooms, storage, or hidden passages.
    • The enterable summit temple makes an excellent base, lookout tower, or throne room once the pyramid is complete.

Maya adds a cohesive library of 54 placeable full-cube decorative stone blocks carved with authentic-looking Maya-style rounded glyphs across six palettes (pale limestone, warm sandstone, dark basalt, red ceremonial stone, cracked ancient stone, and mossy overgrown stone). The set includes wall panels, corner stones, horizontal friezes, pillar faces, floor tiles, altar tops, shrine centers, doorway frames, and royal tomb blocks—some perfectly tiling and symmetrical for long runs, others ornate focal pieces for altars and doorways—with glyphs applied to every visible face so orientation never leaves a blank side. All block textures are rendered from 1024×1024 carved-stone sources for high-detail builds (with a few related blocks sharing source art to keep the pack compact) and the library was designed to maximize distinct glyph variety so long walls and chambers avoid obvious repetition. To use, open the Creative inventory under Construction, choose your palette and family, and place or rotate blocks as usual to create mystical temples, shrines, tombs, and jungle ruins.

Daedalus Egyptian Labyrinth is a placeable spawner block: place it to start a 15-second HUD countdown, after which the block consumes itself, clears a 60×60×5 area and generates a ruined Egyptian-style maze with 1‑block‑wide, 4‑block‑high corridors, a single entrance and opposite exit, and a centered 20×20 central chamber containing a sarcophagus treasure chest loaded with abundant high-tier rewards—diamonds, emeralds, netherite, ingots, enchanted golden apples, totems, ender pearls, ancient debris and more—so venture through the maze to claim the loot. The corridors and the central chamber are unlit; bring your own light sources and be prepared for darker, more dangerous exploration.
