Cascade Mountain Hideaway

Description

Your own massive hollow glass mountain wrapped in cascading water, grassy terrace patches, and dramatic glowing pathways. Explore four fully usable oak-plank levels beneath the falls, connected by a grand stone-brick archway entrance and lit by recessed Sea Lantern trails. Keep it well lit and nothing is getting through to your home or village inside. Note: I tried to keep the water from breaking through the entrance tunnel, but it still did anyways. And as editing with structures is VERY hit or miss, players will still need to patch the tunnel and redirect the water in the entryway after placement.

Mod Wiki

Cascade Mountain Hideaway

Quickstart

  1. In Creative mode, find Cascade Mountain Hideaway Wand in the Equipment inventory.
  2. Choose a clear, open area large enough for a massive mountain.
  3. Use the wand while aiming at ground level. Its projectile places the hideaway where it lands; the wand is a placement tool, not a weapon.

The wand has no crafting recipe. Try entering through the stone-brick archway, then explore the four interior floors.

Overview

Cascade Mountain Hideaway is a large, hollow mountain structure. Its irregular, multi-peaked silhouette is made from a two-block-thick Green Glass shell, with flowing water covering the exterior. Grass and Dirt terraces break up the glass slopes.

What It Adds

  • A hollow mountain with four Oak Plank floors, spaced 20 blocks apart.
  • Recessed, one-block-wide Sea Lantern paths in each floor, plus a suspended Sea Lantern square above each level.
  • A long, open Stone Brick archway tunnel connecting the exterior to the interior.
  • The Creative-only Cascade Mountain Hideaway Wand for placing the structure.

How To Use

Use the wand at ground level and let its projectile hit where you want the structure placed. The mountain is very large, so leave plenty of room around the impact point.

Enter through the dry, unobstructed archway at the base. Inside, explore each broad floor and use the openings between levels to move through the hideaway.

Abilities And Mechanics

Water flows from the upper peaks and ridges over the Green Glass shell. The double-layer shell contains the water, while exterior Grass and Dirt terraces remain exposed with water flowing around them. The entrance tunnel is routed to stay dry.

Progression And Strategy

There is no crafting or progression system to unlock. Start with the lantern paths as guides, explore all four levels, and use the hideaway as a large base or landmark.

How to install

Download the mod and follow the step-by-step installation guide.
