Description
Bramblethorn is a rare, hand-crafted sword infused with toxic spores. It swings like a sturdy iron-tier weapon, but its true strength lies in its poisonous nature — every so often, striking a mob triggers a burst of spores that spreads poison to nearby enemies, making it a great pick for crowd control against groups of hostile mobs.
Bramblethorn is crafted at a crafting table using poisonous potatoes, sticks, ferns, an iron ingot, and a wooden sword as the base.
Bramblethorn rewards players who fight in groups of enemies, since its spore bursts can poison multiple mobs at once, weakening them over time without needing to land every hit precisely. Pair it with enchantments like Sharpness or Fire Aspect to stack damage-over-time effects, and keep diamonds on hand to repair it during extended adventures. Because its durability is not unlimited, plan repairs before heading into long fights or mob-heavy areas like raids and dungeons.
