Description
Hunt biome guardians for cores, then craft three powerful weapons with unique combat abilities.
Mod Wiki
Biomes Weapons
Quickstart
- In Survival, hunt an enemy in one of the biomes below and collect its core. For a straightforward first weapon, try a Dripstone Crawler in Dripstone Caves: it always drops a Dripstone Cave Core.
- Turn four iron ingots into Four Iron Pieces, then craft Dripstone Gloves with the core, dripstone blocks, and pointed dripstone. The recipe icons show the full layouts when opened.
- Hold the gloves in your main hand and right-click to send spikes ahead. Sneak + right-click calls down falling spikes around you.
- To try other weapons, hunt their matching biome enemies and use the weapon recipes below. In Creative, the Biomes Weapons tab also has spawn eggs for testing enemies.
The default Weapon Ability key is R; remap it under Controls if you prefer. Birch Bat, Sakura Katana, and Sculk Tuning Fork use this key. The other three weapons use right-click.
Overview
Biomes Weapons adds six hostile biome creatures, six weapons made with their cores, and crafting materials for several recipes. Explore their home biomes, fight for cores, then choose a weapon suited to your preferred combat style.
What It Adds
| Enemy | Where to look | Core |

| Sculk Guardian | Deep Dark | Sculk Core |
| Dripstone Crawler | Dripstone Caves | Dripstone Cave Core |

The Birch, Sakura, and Sculk Guardians have a chance to drop their core when killed by a player or a player-owned tame. The base chance is 20%; Looting improves it, up to 50%. Dripstone Crawlers, Dark Ents, and Savanna Archers drop their matching core on death.

Abilities And Mechanics
- Birch Bat: Melee hits knock enemies back. Press R with a Birch Log in your inventory to throw one; a hit deals damage and briefly weakens, slows, and stuns the target. The throw has a 5-second cooldown.
- Sakura Katana: Hold R briefly to charge a forward dash, which can damage enemies along its path. It has a 6-second cooldown.
- Sculk Tuning Fork: Hold R, then release. Releasing before 24 ticks sends a short-range resonance burst; charging for at least 24 ticks sends a longer sonic attack in the direction you’re aiming. The two abilities have separate cooldowns. The fork cannot be used for ordinary melee attacks, and each ability use costs durability.
- Dripstone Gloves: Right-click to raise a line of damaging spikes ahead. Sneak + right-click calls down falling spikes across a wider area. The forward line cools down faster than the falling-spike attack.
- Dark Forest Battle Axe: Hold right-click, then release to strike a nearby target in front of you. A longer charge deals more damage; the strongest charge takes about one second. Successful charged strikes briefly cool down the axe.
- Savanna Bow: Hold right-click to draw, then release to fire a fan of three arrows. Sneak + right-click cycles the spread setting: 5%, 15%, 25%, 35%, then 50%. Wider spreads cover more space but make shots less focused. The bow creates its arrows, so it does not consume arrows from your inventory.
Breaking a log while holding the Dark Forest Battle Axe also fells nearby connected logs.
Progression And Strategy
- Use cover against the Sculk Guardian. It can fire a damaging sonic attack from a distance, but solid blocks interrupt its line of attack.
- Keep pressure on the Dark Ent. It can recover health if left unharmed for a while; axes deal extra damage to it.
- Avoid trading hits with the Dripstone Crawler. It slows attackers and reflects some damage when struck.
- Close the distance on the Savanna Archer carefully. It fires multiple arrows and retreats from nearby players, so use cover as you approach.
- Expect the Sakura Guardian to speed up when hurt. The Birch Guardian’s resistance to knockback also comes and goes, so time your attacks rather than relying on pushing it away.
