Azure Skull Barrage

Quickstart

1. Obtain the Azure Skull Barrage in Creative mode, or craft it at a crafting table.
2. Hold it in your hand and aim at a solid block within 64 blocks.
3. Use the item—right-click on Windows, or use the normal item-use control on your platform.
4. The item clears a 10×10 shaft from the target area down to the dimension’s bedrock layer and releases 100 blue wither skulls above it.

The item is non-stackable. To obtain it directly with commands, use:

/give @s com_azure_skull_barrage_m5474a2v:my_sword

Overview

Azure Skull Barrage is a powerful destructive item themed around blue wither skulls. Each use targets the block you are looking at, opens a straight shaft beneath that location, and summons a barrage of falling blue wither skulls.

Use it in open areas where destroying terrain and triggering wither-skull explosions is safe. Avoid using it near builds, bases, storage, or anything you want to preserve.

How To Use

Hold Azure Skull Barrage and use it while aiming at a solid, non-passable block.

• The target can be up to 64 blocks away.
• The shaft is centered on the targeted block’s X and Z coordinates.
• The cleared area is 10 blocks wide and 10 blocks long.
• The shaft extends from just above the dimension’s bottom bedrock layer up to the target’s Y level.
• In the Overworld and the End, the bottom bedrock layer is at Y -64.
• In the Nether, the bottom bedrock layer is at Y 0.
• If you are not aiming at a valid block, the effect centers on your current position.

After the shaft is cleared, 100 blue wither skulls appear in a spread above the target area and fall downward. Their explosions can enlarge or damage the surrounding terrain beyond the cleared shaft.

Abilities And Mechanics

Bedrock Shaft

Each activation removes blocks in a 10×10 vertical shaft down to just above the bottom bedrock layer. The bottom bedrock is preserved, leaving the shaft floor at the dimension’s lowest bedrock level.

Blue Wither Skull Barrage

The item launches 100 blue wither skulls above the shaft. They are spread randomly across the area and move downward, producing a large destructive barrage as they strike and explode.

Sword Properties

Azure Skull Barrage can be held and used as a sword.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft it after obtaining a nether star, wither skeleton skull, and diamond sword.
• Aim at the ground when you want a vertical mining shaft.
• Use it from a high position to target a distant location within the 64-block range.
• Keep the target area clear of valuable structures and friendly entities.
• Treat every activation as a major terrain-altering event: the shaft clearing and the blue wither skull explosions can cause extensive destruction.
