Quickstart

1. Gather a diamond, flint and steel, and a stick.
2. Craft the Diamond fire sword at a crafting table:

1. Equip it in your hotbar or main hand.
2. Use the item button to launch a fireball in the direction you are looking.
3. Strike a mob with the blade to deal devastating damage. The special hit effect targets entities, so try it against hostile mobs, players and other creatures.

How To Use

Melee attacks

Hold the Diamond fire sword in your hand and attack a mob normally. Its special effect applies 500 damage to entities in addition to its ordinary sword attack.

The special damage doesn't apply to players. The blade’s regular attack behavior remains available against player targets.

Fireball attacks

Use the Diamond fire sword while looking toward your target. A fireball launches immediately in the direction you are facing if you have fireballs in your inventory.

• You have to have fireballs in your inventory.
• No charge time is required.
• Aim upward or downward to adjust the projectile’s path.
• Keep your surroundings in mind when firing at close range.
• The fireball is launched from just in front of and above you, helping prevent it from originating inside your body.

Craft the Diamond fire sword at a crafting table using:

• 1 diamond
• 1 flint and steel
• 1 stick

The finished blade has a maximum stack size of one. In Creative mode, look for it in the equipment category.
