Astral Erasure Blade

Quickstart

1. Craft the blade at a crafting table using the recipe below, or obtain it in Creative mode from the Equipment category.
2. Keep the blade anywhere in your inventory or equipment slots. You do not need to hold it for its protective powers to work.
3. Hold the blade and use it while aiming at an entity to erase the first entity in your line of sight.
4. Attack an entity with the blade to erase it on hit.
5. Use the blade on a block to erase the targeted block. Targets can be up to 64 blocks away.

Overview

The Astral Erasure Blade is a powerful sword that removes targeted entities and blocks instead of defeating them through ordinary combat. It has 14 attack damage and can be enchanted as a sword.

Any entity carrying the blade is protected from the blade’s erasure effect. Players who possess one also gain a collection of powerful abilities, including flight and extreme resistance to danger.

How To Use

Erasing Entities

Aim at an entity and use the blade. The first entity in your line of sight within 64 blocks is removed immediately.

You can also erase an entity by attacking it with the blade. This works for ordinary melee attacks as well as direct use.

Entities carrying an Astral Erasure Blade cannot be erased by this effect. The blade can therefore protect players or other entities that have one in their inventory or equipment.

Erasing Blocks

Aim at a block and use the blade while interacting with it. The targeted block is removed within a range of 64 blocks. Liquids and otherwise passable blocks can also be selected.

The block is removed as though destroyed, so use care around valuable structures and terrain.

Using Flight

Keep the blade anywhere in your inventory or equipment slots to receive flight. It does not need to be in your selected hotbar slot or main hand.

Use the normal Bedrock flight controls after flight is granted. Removing every Astral Erasure Blade from your inventory and equipment removes the flight granted by the mod.

Crafting And Obtaining

The blade is crafted at a crafting table. Its recipe requires:

• Echo shards
• Nether stars
• Diamonds
• A diamond sword
• Obsidian

The crafting recipe produces one Astral Erasure Blade.

In Creative mode, look for the blade in the Equipment category. You can also use:

/give @s com_astral_erasure_blade_aavnp7f5:my_sword 1

Abilities And Mechanics

Protection

A player or entity is protected from erasure while an Astral Erasure Blade is present in its inventory or equipment. For players, this protection works whether the blade is held, stored in the inventory, or placed in an equipment slot.

Blade-Holder Powers

Players possessing the blade continuously receive:

• Very high strength
• Very high resistance
• Very high regeneration
• Very high haste
• Very high saturation
• Very high absorption
• Increased movement speed
• Increased jump height
• Fire resistance
• Water breathing
• Night vision
• Conduit power
• The ability to fly

The effects are maintained while the blade remains available in the player’s inventory or equipment. They do not require the blade to be selected.

Durability And Enchanting

The blade has 2,031 durability and is treated as a sword for enchanting. Its erasure abilities are separate from its ordinary attack damage, so attacking an entity can remove the target regardless of the normal damage value.

Progression And Strategy

• Obtain the blade as soon as you have access to echo shards, a nether star, diamonds, a diamond sword, and obsidian.
• Store it in your inventory when exploring so its defensive powers and flight remain active.
• Use direct attacks for nearby targets and line-of-sight use for targets at a distance.
• Aim carefully before using the blade around builds, farms, containers, or other important blocks.
• Give a blade to an entity you want to protect from erasure.
• Keep a spare blade available if durability becomes a concern.
