Craft the Ashwood Doom Bat at a crafting table with TNT, a stick, and leather:

Equip it in your hotbar and use your normal melee attack to hit a mob. Every hit kills the target and triggers an explosion at its location.

Overview

The Ashwood Doom Bat, also known as SCP-2398, is a powerful melee weapon. Its blast does not break blocks or start fires, so you can use it without wrecking the surrounding terrain.

What It Adds

• Ashwood Doom Bat: A hand-held weapon with 1,100 durability.
• Impact blast: Hitting an entity kills it and creates an explosion where it stood. Larger targets can produce larger blasts.

How To Use

Select the bat and attack a target as you would with any melee weapon. Each hit triggers the kill and explosion effect; the blast can also affect nearby entities.

Craft the bat at a crafting table. The recipe uses one TNT, one stick, and one leather.

Abilities And Mechanics

The explosion’s radius scales with the target’s size, ranging from 2 to 16 blocks; an ordinary-sized target produces a 4-block radius. Explosions do not break blocks or cause fire.

Progression And Strategy

Try the bat on a lone target first to see the blast, then use it against groups. Be mindful of nearby entities that could be caught in the explosion.
