Ancient Debris Creeper
Quickstart
- In Creative mode, find the Ancient Debris Creeper spawn egg in the Spawn Eggs tab and use it on a block to spawn one.
- To summon one with a command, use
/summon ancient-debris-creeper-3aofzkzl:ancient_debris_creeper_3aofzkzl. - For a survival encounter, explore the Nether, where these creepers can spawn naturally. Watch one detonate and look through the nearby terrain for Ancient Debris.
Overview
The Ancient Debris Creeper behaves like a creeper and has a special effect when it explodes: nearby terrain can be replaced with Ancient Debris. Players do not take explosion damage from this creeper’s blast.
What It Adds
- The Ancient Debris Creeper mob.
- A spawn egg for placing the mob in the world.
How To Use
Use the spawn egg on a block to spawn the creeper, or encounter one naturally in the Nether. Like a regular creeper, it approaches and detonates near its target.
After it explodes, up to 45 eligible blocks within roughly four blocks of the creeper’s position may become Ancient Debris. The effect selects solid blocks at random; it does not replace bedrock, existing Ancient Debris, or blocks with block entities.
Crafting And Obtaining
The spawn egg is available in Creative mode’s Spawn Eggs tab. The mob can also appear naturally in the Nether. No crafting recipe is listed for the egg.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Terrain conversion: The explosion is followed by random replacement of nearby eligible blocks with Ancient Debris. The amount can vary, up to 45 blocks.
- Player protection: Players take no explosion damage from this creeper’s blast. Its explosion can still affect the surrounding terrain.
