Amethyst Arsenal

Quickstart

1. Gather amethyst shards (from amethyst clusters/geodes) and craft a full set of Amethyst Armor — helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots — using a crafting table.
2. Craft a Dagger at your current tech tier (wood, stone, copper, iron, diamond, or netherite) with just a stick and one material — daggers are fast, cheap sidearm weapons available from the very start of the game.
3. Upgrade netherite-tier tools and weapons (sword, axe, spear, pickaxe, shovel, hoe) into their Amethyst versions at a smithing table using a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template and a netherite ingot.
4. Craft an Amethyst Upgrade Core and keep it in your inventory. Fight with an Amethyst Sword, Dagger, Axe, or Spear — every kill charges your Resonance. Right-click (or use) the Upgrade Core to open the Amethyst Upgrade Forge and spend Resonance on temporary combat buffs.

Overview

Amethyst Arsenal adds a full progression of amethyst-infused tools, weapons, and armor, plus a line of daggers spanning every material tier. Amethyst weapons feed into a Resonance system: defeating mobs while wielding one builds up a personal charge that can be spent at the Amethyst Upgrade Core for short, powerful battle blessings. The set encourages players to keep fighting with Amethyst gear rather than switching back to plain netherite tools.

What It Adds

Amethyst Equipment

• Amethyst Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots — durable armor repairable with amethyst shards, offering solid protection and good enchantability.
• Amethyst Sword, Axe, Spear, Pickaxe, Shovel, Hoe — high-durability upgrades of their netherite counterparts with strong damage and mining speed.
• Amethyst Dagger — a fast, lightweight sword-type weapon made from amethyst shards.

Dagger Line A dagger exists for every early-to-late tier: Wooden, Stone, Copper, Iron, Diamond, Netherite, and Amethyst. Each is a quick, cheap one-handed weapon that scales in damage and durability with its material, letting players carry a lightweight backup blade at any stage of the game.

Amethyst Upgrade Core A special item that opens the Amethyst Upgrade Forge menu, where accumulated Resonance can be spent on temporary buffs.

Abilities And Mechanics

Resonance Charge Any kill scored while holding an Amethyst Sword, Dagger, Axe, or Spear grants one point of Resonance. Your current Resonance total appears on the action bar whenever you're holding an Amethyst weapon or the Amethyst Upgrade Core.

Amethyst Upgrade Forge Using the Amethyst Upgrade Core opens a menu showing your Resonance total and two blessings, each costing 5 Resonance:

• Resonant Might — grants Strength I for 45 seconds.
• Crystal Guard — grants Resistance I for 45 seconds.

Choose a blessing to spend your Resonance and receive the effect immediately, or close the menu to keep your charge saved for later.

Repairing Armor Amethyst armor pieces can be repaired using amethyst shards in an anvil or crafting grid, restoring durability without needing another full set.

Progression And Strategy

• Start with cheap daggers (wooden, stone, copper) early on for a fast backup weapon while you gather better materials.
• Move up to iron, diamond, and netherite daggers as your equipment improves.
• Once you have netherite tools and a smithing template, convert your full netherite kit into Amethyst gear for top-tier durability and damage.
• Favor Amethyst Sword, Dagger, Axe, or Spear in combat over other weapons to build Resonance while fighting.
• Keep an Amethyst Upgrade Core on hand during tough fights or before boss encounters so you can cash in Resonance for Strength or Resistance right when you need it.
