Alien Shift Watch

Quickstart

1. Obtain the watch by crafting it at a crafting table, or find it in the Equipment section of the Creative inventory.
2. Craft the Alien Shift Watch using the recipe below.

1. Hold the watch in your hand.
2. Sneak and use the watch to turn the dial and select the next alien.
3. Use the watch normally to transform into the selected alien and activate its abilities.
4. Sneak-use the watch again to cycle through the five alien forms. The watch displays the selected alien and its powers in chat.

Overview

Alien Shift Watch is a transformation item that lets you switch between five powerful alien forms. Each form grants a different group of abilities, allowing you to specialize in combat, movement, mining, exploration, or stealth.

The watch has a maximum durability of 256 and does not stack.

What It Adds

The mod adds one item:

• Alien Shift Watch — A hand-held transformation watch with a selectable alien dial.

How To Use

Select an alien

Hold the Alien Shift Watch and sneak while using it. Each sneak-use advances the dial to the next alien. The selection cycles through all five forms and then returns to the beginning.

A chat message identifies the selected form and summarizes its abilities.

Transform

Use the watch normally without sneaking to activate the selected alien. A chat message confirms the transformation, and the selected form's abilities become active.

Change forms

Sneak-use the watch to select another alien, then use it normally to activate that form. Activating a new form replaces the currently active alien's abilities.

Abilities And Mechanics

Each alien continuously provides its listed effects while active:

• Heatblast: Resist fire and gain increased strength.
• XLR8: Move faster and jump higher.
• Four Arms: Gain increased strength, resistance to damage, and additional health.
• Upgrade: Mine and interact with blocks faster, see clearly in darkness, and regenerate health.
• Ghostfreak: Become invisible and fall more slowly.

The watch refreshes active abilities automatically, so they remain available until another alien form is activated or the effects are otherwise removed.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Alien Shift Watch at a crafting table using the displayed recipe, or obtain it directly from the Equipment category in Creative mode.

Progression And Strategy

There is no separate progression system. All five alien forms are available as soon as you obtain the watch.

• Use XLR8 for fast travel and navigating difficult terrain.
• Choose Four Arms or Heatblast for dangerous combat.
• Use Upgrade while mining or exploring caves.
• Switch to Ghostfreak for stealth and safer drops.
• Sneak-use before a fight or expedition to choose the best form, then use normally to transform.
