TL;DR: A CreativeMode user recreated the entire Minecraft Live update (The Dappled Forest drop) in a mod!
If you saw the new Minecraft Live (read the recap), then you saw the new Dappled Forest biome coming to the game this fall as the third drop of the year. Well, an ambitious user on CreativeMode has already recreated the entire Dappled Forest biome as a mod, so no need to wait months!
We were amazed at how quickly and accurately a user was able to make the new biome on CreativeMode - and they did it using our new biomes feature (which you can try out for yourself here)
The mod includes features from the upcoming release, including autumn themed trees, fallen logs with mushrooms, a new poplar wood with poplar planks, and even the new wool stair blocks in each wool color! Go play it for yourself here.
