The Randomizer 3000 is a rare single‑slot handheld: right‑click to start a flashy slot‑machine roll (colorful HUD, easing reels and click sounds) that after a 5‑second animation awards a completely random item from the entire game registry, including mods. Survival has a base five‑minute cooldown (Creative skips the cooldown but still waits for the animation); Swift shards speed up the roll and reduce cooldown, Dupe shards add extra duplicates of stackable rewards, Enchant shards add a chance to give enchanted books, Slot shards add extra final slots, and Chest shards add a chance to instead award a Loot Barrel. Apply shards by holding a shard and clicking the Randomizer or by holding the Randomizer and clicking a shard stack; one shard is consumed per successful insert, the upgrade level updates immediately, successful inserts play the bundle insert sound and show actionbar feedback, and attempts to insert an already‑maxed shard are blocked. Result sounds now play client‑side exactly when the final “YOU GOT:” reveal appears: enchanted books use the enchantment table sound, Loot Barrels use a noteblock didgeridoo, mod items use a noteblock chime, unobtainable‑in‑survival items use a bell, and all other rewards use a noteblock hi‑hat; if multiple final slots are produced each slot’s reveal sound plays. Shards are rare drops from blocks, mobs, and chests, making the Randomizer 3000 ideal for chaotic surprise loot in both Survival and Creative.
