Minecraft Journey Mode

Quickstart

• On spawn, check your inventory for the Minecraft Journey Mode menu item. If it’s missing, the mod attempts to give it to you when you spawn; you can also craft it.
• Hold the item and use it to open the menu.
• Choose a category, then an item. Submit the required quantity to unlock it, then choose Add 1, Add 16, or Add 64 to put that many in your inventory.
• Try Extra Commands in the main menu for game mode, flight, fall damage, mob protection, and enemy controls.

Overview

Minecraft Journey Mode turns collected items into repeatable inventory supplies. Submit the listed amount of an item once to unlock that item for your player; afterward, use the menu to add more whenever you need them.

What It Adds

The mod provides a usable menu item, four item categories, and an Extra Commands menu.

How To Use

1. Use the menu item to open Minecraft Journey Mode.
2. Choose a category and select an item. The menu shows whether it is unlocked or how many copies you need to submit.
3. Confirm the submission. The required quantity is taken from your inventory, and the item is unlocked for you.
4. Choose an amount to add. The selected items go into your inventory if there is enough room.

Unlocked items remain available through the menu, so you can request more than once.

Choose Extra Commands from the main menu to open gameplay settings. After changing a setting, the menu returns so you can choose another.

Crafting And Obtaining

The menu item is given to players on spawn if they do not already have one. It can also be crafted at a crafting table:

Abilities And Mechanics

Extra Commands includes these options:

• Switch to Creative or Switch to Survival changes your game mode.
• Mayfly enables or disables your ability to fly.
• Fall damage toggles fall damage for the world.
• Villager & iron golem protection protects loaded villagers and iron golems by helping keep their health full.
• All enemies toggles the listed hostile mobs together. You can also toggle each type individually.

The enemy controls cover zombies, husks, drowned, zombie villagers, zombified piglins, creepers, skeletons, strays, bogged, wither skeletons, spiders, cave spiders, endermen, endermites, silverfish, witches, blazes, ghasts, magma cubes, slimes, guardians, elder guardians, shulkers, phantoms, vindicators, pillagers, evokers, vexes, ravagers, wardens, hoglins, zoglins, piglins, piglin brutes, breezes, the Wither, and the Ender Dragon. Turning a type off moves its existing members away from play; disabled types are also kept away when they spawn or load.

Progression And Strategy

Unlock items as you find them during normal play. Start with frequently used building supplies, then work toward rarer unlocks as you collect the required quantities. Keep inventory space open before requesting a large addition; the menu will only add items when they fit.
