Weeping Angel

Quickstart

  1. Open your Creative inventory and grab the Weeping Angel Wand.
  2. Aim at open, flat ground with plenty of vertical space above it — this structure is huge.
  3. Use the wand to fire its projectile at the target location.
  4. Watch as a towering stone angel statue rises out of the ground, block by block.
  5. Turn around, then look back... and try not to blink.

Overview

Weeping Angel lets you summon a massive, detailed stone angel statue anywhere in your world with a single tool. Inspired by the classic "don't blink" horror trope, this mod is built for atmosphere: a colossal weeping angel that looms over the landscape, perfect for horror maps, cinematic builds, or spooking your friends in multiplayer.

There's no farming, mining, or combat involved — this is a pure building/decoration mod centered on one dramatic set piece.

What It Adds

  • Weeping Angel Wand — a special item that instantly places the giant angel structure where you aim.
  • Wand Projectile — an invisible-in-flight projectile fired by the wand that triggers the structure placement on impact.
  • Giant Stone Angel Structure — a massive multi-part statue built from dozens of custom stone-colored blocks, assembled automatically across a wide area and tall enough to tower many stories high.
  • Custom stone block variants in many subtle shades of gray and black, used purely to give the statue realistic stone texturing and shading.

How To Use

  • Equip the wand: Find the Weeping Angel Wand in your Creative inventory under equipment items.
  • Fire it: Right-click / use the wand to launch its projectile toward the ground. A small particle effect marks the impact point.
  • Structure placement: On impact, the mod automatically loads dozens of structure pieces stacked and arranged into position, forming one enormous angel statue centered near where the projectile landed.
  • Give it room: The completed statue spans a very large footprint and stands extremely tall (multiple structure layers stacked vertically), so use it in open areas, large arenas, or custom horror-themed builds.
  • Cooldown: The wand has a short cooldown between uses, so you can't spam-summon statues instantly.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Weeping Angel Wand is a Creative-only item — it does not have a survival crafting recipe. Obtain it directly from the Creative inventory (equipment category) or by using commands/creative menus in your world.

Abilities And Mechanics

  • The wand fires a physics-based projectile with a small arc and gravity, similar to a snowball toss.
  • On hitting a block or surface, the projectile disappears and triggers the placement sequence.
  • The angel statue is built from many separate structure pieces loaded in sequence, forming one continuous giant figure — this may take a moment to fully appear depending on size.
  • All statue blocks are solid, mineable stone-type blocks (moderate mining time, no blast resistance), so the statue can be broken down or edited manually after it's placed if you want to modify or dismantle it.

Progression And Strategy

There's no unlock progression — the wand is available immediately in Creative mode. The intended use is decorative and atmospheric:

  • Place the angel at the end of a corridor or in a foggy field for a jump-scare effect.
  • Use it as a landmark or boss-like centerpiece in custom maps.
  • Combine with lighting, sound, or redstone-triggered effects (build your own) to enhance the "don't blink" horror theme.
  • Since the statue is made of normal minable blocks, you can reshape or repaint sections of it to fit your build.

Teldrassil (or just a huge tree)

Teldrassil — was SUPPOSED to be an exact, large-scale replica of the World of Warcraft World Tree. A single colossal tree built to reach 360 blocks tall ... it looks nothing like Teldrassil, but it is really cool and if you use it you should place it in the ocean and at least 36…
