Place the block and right-click it with an empty hand to instantly generate a centered 5x5 well with a 30-block-deep shaft and a 3x3 water opening flush with the rim; it preserves the original shaft, water fill, sound, and loot behavior. All above-ground elements like roofs, supports, and hanging decorations have been removed so the well stops cleanly at the rim for unobstructed access.
