Voidwing Sightblade

Quickstart

Craft the Voidwing Sightblade at a crafting table using phantom membrane, echo shard, netherite ingot, and a stick:

Equip it and use it to gain Night Vision and, in Survival or Adventure, temporary Creative flight for 30 seconds. Use it again while flying this way to end the flight early. Try it in a safe area first: while the effect lasts, you are in Creative mode, then you return to your original game mode.

Overview

The Voidwing Sightblade is an epic sword for powerful melee strikes, brief flight, and seeing in darkness. Its use grants Night Vision, not X-ray vision.

How To Use

• Attack: Hit enemies with the blade to deal heavy melee damage.
• Use: Activate the held item with your usual Use control to gain Night Vision. In Survival or Adventure, this also switches you to Creative mode for 30 seconds, allowing you to fly.
• End flight early: Use the blade again while its flight effect is active. Your original game mode is restored.
• Creative mode: Using the blade grants Night Vision, but does not start the temporary flight effect.
