Quickstart

1. Open your crafting table — the recipe is automatically unlocked in your recipe book when you join the world.
2. Craft the Voidvein Pickaxe:

1. Hold the pickaxe in your main hand and mine any ore block.
2. Every ore in the entire chunk instantly shatters and the results land directly in your inventory — already smelted into ingots or other furnace outputs.

Overview

The Voidvein Pickaxe is a netherite-tier pickaxe with a permanent purple enchanted glow. Its defining power is chunk-wide vein-smelt: breaking a single ore while holding this tool destroys every ore block in the same chunk simultaneously, automatically smelts each one through its furnace recipe, and deposits the results straight into your inventory. It is one of the most efficient ore-processing tools available, turning a single swing into a full chunk clear.

What It Adds

Abilities And Mechanics

• Chunk-Wide Ore Destruction — When you mine any ore block while holding the Voidvein Pickaxe, every ore block within the entire 16×16×384 chunk column is instantly broken at the same time.
• Auto-Smelting — Each destroyed ore is run through its furnace smelting recipe automatically. Coal Ore yields Coal, Iron Ore yields Iron Ingots, Gold Ore yields Gold Ingots, Ancient Debris yields Netherite Scrap, and so on.
• No Furnace Required — Smelted results skip your furnace entirely and go straight into your inventory.
• Fallback Drops — Ores that have no furnace smelting recipe (such as Redstone Ore or Diamond Ore) drop their normal items instead.
• Inventory Full Behavior — If your inventory is full when ores are processed, leftover items are dropped on the ground at your feet. Make sure you have plenty of free inventory space before triggering the ability.
• Durability — The pickaxe has 2,048 uses and loses 1 durability per activation (one swing = one chunk clear).
• Enchanted Glow — The tool always displays the purple enchantment shimmer regardless of whether it has enchantments applied.

Progression And Strategy

• Prepare your inventory first. A full chunk can contain dozens of ores. Clear out at least a full row or two before mining so the smelted results don't pile up on the floor.
• Choose your chunk wisely. Because the effect covers an entire chunk column, scout for an ore-rich area (deep underground, near lava lakes, or in the Nether for Gold and Ancient Debris) before triggering a clear.
• One swing per chunk. You only need to break one ore to clear everything — don't waste durability by mining ore after ore manually.
• Late-game efficiency. The pickaxe is most powerful after you already have netherite gear and want to rapidly stockpile ingots for mass crafting. Use it for iron or gold farms deep underground to gather hundreds of ingots in seconds.
